发帖数: 886 | 6 Desert Botanical gardens http://www.dbg.org/ is one of the best botanical gardens around the Southwest. It features 50 acres of 500+ varieties of desert plants, with 137 different cactus. Spring is coming to the Garden now.
It is free to visit the garden on second Tuesday of every month from 1 -
8pm. It usually costs $18.00 to enter. |

样生动精彩了。
san diego botanic garden，
不是balbao park里的那个，地址是230 Quail Gardens Drive，跟去花田和calsbad
outlet在一条线上，都是5号边上，我以前会带娃玩一上午，然后去outlet吃饭，下午
娃睡stroller，我shopping。

关于这里的小孩乐园
botanic garden里，有两个儿童乐园，一个旧的小的，在停车场的南边，叫 seeds of
wonder，是适合小小孩玩的，有小房子，厨房玩具，沙坑恐龙，水池塑料鱼，还有各种
蔬菜，还有一个小火车布景，很漂亮，小孩可以站在旁边看，以前也有过专人讲座介绍
如何在自家花园里设置这样的小火车布景，这里也有过一些如何布置自己花园的讲座，
感觉他们也比较注意把园子的内容和大家生活相关。
还有一个大的新的儿童园，是hamilton children garden，我的拼写可能不准确，这个

方。周末终于实现了多年的愿望。大人门票$14，儿童$8，还有停车$2。这个价格，显
然希望的东西要多一些，对得起这个门票。好在有个50%的哭胖，勉强说得过去。不过
，显然不是季节，里面和期望值相差太远。估计春季也许比较好。里面规划的不仅合理
，但有很多种不同种类不同地区的植物。听说有个免费日，在每个月的第一个周二。

【明报专讯】温哥华范度森植物园(VanDusen Botanical Garden)新游客中心昨日落成
了！总投资2,190万元兴建的游客中心，其现代感的外观、大师级的室内建筑设计，开
幕首日即吸引许多游客，成為温市观光不能错过的新景点。
游客中心兴建经费2,190万元，来自公园及三级政府拨款，包括范度森植物园协会出资
470万元(包括募款)、温市府拨款830万、联邦政府拨款690万，卑诗省府亦拨款200万元
参与兴建，计划最早在6年前由公园协会提出。
新游客中心室内面积高达1.9万平方呎，除了入门大厅面积更大，可容纳更多游客外，
中心内包括讲解植物或展览的场地、图书馆、园艺商店、教室，或义工用的交流厅，均
比旧中心面积大。

If you have to visit Atlanta, the altanta botanic garden is one of the places where you
