话说企鹅的越南同事恶赌成性，帮俺在AC的四星波个大(Borgata)旅馆搞了FREE ROOM，
欣然前往。
3小时车程，这个破城市是没什么可说的，直奔主题，Poker (Texas Hold'em，Gamble
版有新手指南)
波个大属于AC里面高档的，MGM旗下的赌场型旅馆之一，比较大方，会员有卡的话，周
末的房间提前一周订的话，都能订上免费的房间，比它们的直接竞争对手Taj Mahal (
富豪Trump名下的)要豪爽得多，TM一般只有平时有可能给。AC的旅馆超级离谱，
平时价位都在$200以上。
Poker桌从2/4 limit起到1000/2000 no limit都有，小赌么，俺只敢玩3/6的limit。
周末人很多，排了1小时才搞到张桌子，同桌的9个人全是tight型的选手，玩了8小时，
净输三位数，不过也没有明显的赢家，正应了那句名言， no one wins on a tight
table，你来我往之间，只是赌场每把几块的一点点吃掉手续费。
手气一般，只有两手牌印象比较深刻，呵呵，当然嘛 |

发帖数: 15860 | 2 a boring and dying city, tons of casinos in PA/DE/WV now, much fewer ppl go
to AC any more.
1) nothing, only gambling;
2) none, it's NOT like LV. if you have to, borgata and harrahs have ok ones,
caesars has an ok chinese restaurant;
3) no problem, you can ride on jitney (small bus) for a few dollars or taxi
(around $10-15) to get around. |

walk down to there depending on where the bus stops)
2. walk to Trump Taj Mahal (takes about an hour to get to Taj Mahal and
can spend about an hour or two hours there)
3. walk to Tropicana to see the Quarter (about 30 minutes walk along the
boardwalk and can spend an hour or two hours there) |

from taj mahal to tropicana is about 1.4 miles.
seems not very convenient by public transportation, need to double check
their public transportation when arrive there. :) |

实际上，当我们确定与大部队失散以后，兔子一直都非常内疚。在去Borgata 的途中，
在享用美味 buffet 的时候，他都一直在唠叨“我怎么这么不小心；我应该可以做的好
一点；我以后怎么见人呐”etc, etc。我们都担心他想不开，尤其是在海边的时候 (请
参考 manthony 的“小赌怡情之AC行”现场记录片片)。所以我们始终团结在他的周围，hehe。甚至在赌场里上阵的时候，他都很烦躁，不能集中精力战斗，具体表现在打一枪换一个地方。所以输得很惨 (幽灵公主就不要问了)。最后他不得不冲向海边，在漆黑又雾蒙蒙的夜里，吹海风，以平复内疚之心。在回程的车上，他还仰望夜空，遥思大部队：“他们怎么样了呢？我应该在午饭后接见他们一下，以慰大家渴慕之心。我，为什么，总是, 一错再错？”^~^
我坐在他旁边，在他祥林嫂般的呓语中，感动着，昏昏睡去。。。 |

发帖数: 2207 | 8 到达赌城已经是过午时分了，个别同学据说已经是饥肠辘辘，什么都可以闭眼吃下去了
。我们一行六人还是决定按照原计划，去位于赌城角上的Borgata赌场吃Lunch Buffet.
Vision告诉我们，lunch buffet还是不错的，但毕竟是lunch, illusion中，我仿佛看
到了大腿一般粗的虾。事实证明，lunch buffet还是值得一去的，牛肉烤的不错，各种
炒饭，沙拉，甜点，味道都还可以。虽然距离我事先预想的豪华buffet有明显距离，至
少是吃好和好吃的距离，但总体来说，我对这个lunch buffet还是满意。

korean corner在哪里.
其实buffet嘛都大同小异,borgata的lunch buffet反正不是什么海鲜buffet,有虾,还有
种贝壳类的,没有螃蟹腿什么的.18刀,不算贵,也不太便宜. |

tournaments.
总计：赌场输，非赌场赢。
赌场单天最惨记录，$500，最高记录~$400。输得猛，小赢次数多，纪律性不够强，尤
其是第一天。
战斗过的赌场：
LV：Ballys, Bellagio, Flamigo, MGM, Excalibur, Mirage;
AC: Taj Mahal, Borgata.
赌龄：勉强一年。
收集：各赌场$1筹码，$10银币
自我感觉：能赢，善骗，但需磨炼交学费。
目标：每月赌场实战至少一天，同事练习无数次。

巧啊，俺也琢磨是不是升级到钻石然后换borgata，它们的房间实在棒，而且周末好换
，大方，加上马上要完工的那一栋大楼。
SIGH，现实是，俺住DC旁边，但短时间可能去不了了，家里忙，3小时也太远了点，这
头半年玩的有点疯，去了2趟LV，4趟AC。羡慕你经常可以AC常驻啊。 |

另外4000和10000是total rewards的tier points,只有一定percentage的comp points
才会

Taj的那个得高级会员(而非最基本卡)。
除了上面列的有的，Caesars对于Total Rewards (Platium及Diamond级) members free
parking, 最基本Gold级的话$5，没卡最亏，$20，所以如果停它家的话，死活也要加
入或者赌场转一圈拣一张谁插在老虎机里忘了的(出停车场只是晃一下就行)，呵呵，最
好是有朋友有高级会员的，多印几张副卡,给你一个就是了。
同是Total Rewards旗下的Bally's, Showboat, Harrahs应该类似。不过未必停它们那
，街上稍微转转就有小的便宜停车场，直接竞争。
parking其实是小头，有卡主要是赚免费房间，以前讨论过，Borgata的Black Label最
爽最容易搞到即使是旺季周末的房间。其他Total Rewards的爱给非周末的。AC不象LV，
房间价钱很BT的，尤其是周末或节假日，基本没有任何DEALS的可能，动辄$300+，而且
娱乐设施/SHOW了什么跟LV |

sometimes... like this hand, waht if it's not a 2/4L table (only so much
you can lose)? instead it's a NL one? somebody could lose big and go home
mad.
yeah, caesars and its sister casinos do collect $1 from each hand, but it's
like buying insurance for your bad time. borgata now has jackpot too to
compete, and their standard happens (hehe) to be a little bit lower, you
only need to have AAA88 as the minimum losing hand |

met one pretty blonde (good player though) with big boobs yesterday, she's
funny and open. she said she used to play at borgata before in summer and
every one was watching down her low V neck. she was told her boobs were
hanging out as distraction but she enjoyed the comment, :)

showed up and failed to the final table. just like recent borgata WPT winter
open. if somebody keeps track of how each of those big pros' records every
year, i'm really interested to know.
one comment shocked me before, "many pros do go broke as you might not
know..." |

another pro who wrote 4 poker books was caught last year at borgata AC too,
he and a group of people used a mini video camera at the table, and sent the
info. wirelessly to the back room, where he analyzed and gave instructions. |

1) no dealer mistakes, like accidently mucking the winning hand or misdeals;
2) no floor arguments or table fights (like the old man got killed last year
at Taj Mahal);
3) no smelly opponents, like one guy was kicked out from borgata this year
because he played a few days straight without bathing;
but a few big cons too:
1) easy to get addicted since you tend to play more often. so even stakes
might be lower, you may lose even more than you think;
2) with UIGEA, you may run the |

1) it has to be AA as your hole cards;
2) even not 1, the Q on the board will be used instead of yours.
borgata has lower standard, As over 8s. tropicana's is As over Ts, and
tourneys count too. ballys (165K now) has the best pot for everyone,
because half of it will be split for every one in the poker room, as
long as he is dealt in a hand at the moment. it's not much, but still a
couple hundreds (say, 100 players).
if caesars had the same deal, i would have had $2k |

例可能都高。亚洲女性一手拿烟，一手一掷千金的豪迈，或是美国老太太孤零零的望着
滚动的屏幕，两眼发直的无奈，或是白人女郎衣着暴露，从suger daddy手里接过筹码
，摔出色子的潇洒...
可要到牌桌这个男性独霸的领域里，女性的比例则小了很多，却也是一道亮丽的风景线。
女鲨鱼们可以忽略不计了，她们已经雄性化了。
1)Kris，典型的20出头小ABC。
和俺认识是因为有一阵大家都去得勤，交手几次，大家风格水平类似。有一天清早，俺
俩都刚处在输了一夜，时来运转，坐收筹码的阶段，两人在稀稀拉拉的牌桌上都是chip
leader，情绪好，话也多，也不互相抬杠，顾着自我介绍，品头论足谁打错了什么牌(
呵呵，现在想想很可笑)。
只是后来Kris很少见了，可能她也说fryking很少见了，如同孔乙己很久没来赊酒了。
2)北欧女，还在上大学，borgata赌场常客。
北欧女的招牌不是牌技，是豪迈的性格和身材，高挑个子，曲线玲珑，波涛汹涌。
她一上桌，男性放昏招，make stupid hero calls的概率直线上 |
