他为人怎么样？对postdoc怎么样？看他的paper好象不错，挺productive的group。

发帖数: 676 | 5 房子bank owned了，上市一个月卖掉了，据说不少offer，现在进escrow的比listing高
三万。
今天碰到buyer agent，说篱笆有点摇晃，想给换了。这应该是成交之前seller要fix东
西之一吧？但银行说这个费用应该50-50，我要出一半。可是我又不觉得篱笆有问题，
你要修是你的事，凭什么要我出钱呢？
这个银行的agent挺不厚道的，我们两家之间有三棵棕榈树，很久没有trim过了。银行
找的园丁来收拾庭院的时候把其中一颗给trim了。然后见到我LG出来，说那三棵树是我
家的，问我们要不要继续trim。LG问他们‘你们确定是我家的吗?' 于是园丁打电话给
银行，说确实是我家的。要trim的话交$75。LG想着反正也确实好几年没trim过了，现
在才知道这树是我家的，那弄就弄了吧，方便。于是给了钱。
等后来另一个邻居看见这几棵树修过了，说修的不错，我告诉她多少钱什么的，她说什
么啊你被rip off了。很明显那三颗树是在我邻居的property line里面的。我一看可不
是，都不是在boder上，离property line有个大半尺呢。而且她一说我才注意到那家 |

not mention anything. Besides that question, he only told me that I am lucky
to get the stipend for my Ph.D study. The whole interview time is less than 1
min. Most interestly, when I drove my car to pass the border at Buffalo, they
even did not check my passport or I-20 or anything, I tried to give the
document to the boder officer, he did not take it. He just asked me some
regular questions and let me pass. |

假使他说的是真的,言下之意,如果你把3012当移民法案的话得跟Dream扯皮
他才会拿到台面上来, 当然政客的话也没人知道是否当真
还有其他跟移民有关的法案类似STEM,STAR,Boder security等都有可能attach

interpretations of the customer officers of the different countries. While
the Guatemala side told me that I can travel in the four countres in
central america, the Hoduras side refused me to cross its boder, claming
that that the agreement is not for Chinese passport. Although I was
finally given five days to visit only Copan after hard negotiation, the
Honduras custom kept my passport at their offfice, it was not returned to |

是指中国护照的，不过反正边界没有检查，自然可以过去。TIJUANA说实话不值得一游，
除非你去那里是为了办理签证。

the size of the signal area?
you can write a program that reads a fixed area in the matrix, each read out
can be an instance of an object, then you can manipulate the object. (in C++
or in Java). I think this can even be done in Matlab.
As to the site of the spot, in the object design for spot, can you let the
boder pixels remember whether their outside pixels also have signal or not?
