it's always good to have more papers published for GC application because IO
does not know what journals are good in your field. however, later on when
you apply a job position, if the open access journals are just garbage, then
what would the interviewers think. put yourself in those place and think

的老板和很多杂志的主编发信，都说可以，可是到现在都没有给我审稿机会，比较着急。
背景：系统与进化植物学，分子进化，基因组进化，发育生物学。
已发表文章8篇，2篇在审稿中，其中一个是Nature Communications.
已经帮New Phytologist, BMC Plant Biology, Journal of Genetics and Genomics,
Agronomy Journal审稿，共计5次。

发帖数: 321 | 16 目前公司答应给办绿卡了，有可能是走EB-1B, 也可能是perm；如果是前者可能需要自
己找律师，后者公司律师给处理。目前在一个公司里做IT相关的开发工作，公司名字有
bio research，但是我的工作性质不是做research，我以前读的bio phd，但是后来又
读了一个cs硕士。
先说EB-1B的条件，我比较弱，paper和引用都不多，因为文章比较新，领域在生物里是
很小的一个分支：
paper： 1 first author
1 second author
7 n-th author
citations: 27
reviews: 25 including BMC, plosOne, etc
不知道上面这些条件是否够EB-1B;
另外我2014年8月申请了niw，自己写的，140已经获批，当时用的offer letter就是我
目前工作的职位，但是靠的我生物phd，虽然工作性质是cs但是其实和bio也是沾边，所
以能和以前的research publications挂钩。不知道这样的情况是否能用于eb-1b申请？

an appointment with a few and interview them. In addition, you can see their
reviews on healthgrade.com
If you also give birth at BMC, usually they will send a pediatrician to
evaluate the kid the same day. So no need to worry about that. |

我去年在那里没找到医生 就去了bmc 就是很大一栋房子跨过马路上方那里的adult
care
可是去了好多次了，每次都看到一群看起来像黑人或者老墨的人
而且大部分都特别特别胖
从来没有看到过华人或者白人

发帖数: 211 | 40 MH特别是Ｈealth Ｓaftey Ｎet不是你想看哪个医生就能看哪个医生的. 只能去
community Health Center看. Referral一般最好的也就是去BMC, 而且你不能选医生,
安排谁给你就是谁,不带挑的. 而且, 即使你撞了大运被安排到一个不错的医生,最后操
刀的一般也是练手的住院医. Attending一般只是在复杂或出现问题的情况下才会出手. 所以,不管
麻州医院多高水平,对于MH的病人来说都是旁观者. 轮到他们头上的还不如国内一小医院的医生. |

要求的疫苗都打过，然后TB知道会是阴性，去这家比较便宜。TB阳性就得去他指定的地方照X-ray，要花extra 100刀。我去的这家。觉得他们还算认真，最后填的表格没什么错误。

早上送老婆去bedford有事，从braintree出发，花了约1.5h到，感觉很正常，boston的
交通么，大家都知道。
亮点是我然后从bedford再开到BMC上班（约8点50 从bedford走），nnd花了我近2h啊，
才12miles啊，本来以为1h肯定够了的。。。眼睁睁看自己一缸油一早上烧掉了快四分
之一。
真是情何以堪，出门右转试驾ford fusion hybrid去了。。。 |
