Henry的用意是好的，充分利用所有的实验数据，重构大脑的皮层数学模型，探讨
皮层工作的机制和智力产生的基础。
但个人认为该计划有荒谬之处。
一个计划好与坏，在于现实与否。
他提出这个计划，其实就是全世界范围的理论和实验的神经科学家都一起合作，
2015年都根本不可能完成复制猕猴的大脑，更不可能解析皮层工作机制。
换句话说，想法是好的，－－想搞个数学模型，搞清楚大脑是怎么工作的
（－－－谁不想阿！）。但这里头的每个小步骤都或者是当前最热的领域，但还
根本没搞清楚怎么回事；或者就是技术手段根本没到位－－有待实验技术上有了突破
才行。所以HENRY的做法形成的结果就是，以一个IDEA，赢得数亿美金赞助，然后
做着数百个实验室都想完成的事情，结果就是10年后做出的东西是个脑模型简化版－－
现在已经有N个这样的简化版－－人家都是没花多少钱搞出来的。
当然不可否认，认真做，钱又多，能够得出很多有意思的中间结果。
但要点是，不能因此忽悠大家，说你要做什么事情了，然后还希望把整个世界的神经科学
方面的资源都拿来为你服务。

我昨天跟我妈提过送daycare的事情，她坚决不同意。
她说宝宝太小，去了根本就不知道什么，等再大一些才能送过去。
而且她在这里的时候送宝宝去daycare，不知道我公婆会怎么想她呢。
她还说白天的时候宝宝很多时间是在睡觉，所以其实她不是很累。跟宝宝一起睡觉就行了。
宝宝最活跃的时候是晚上，晚上我在家，所以还好。
我再提她就要急了。所以daycare这件事就此作罢。更加不要说请保姆了。
我们宝宝还算很乖的，很懂事，不会乱哭闹，所以相对来说比较好带，而且白天我妈吃的饭我都前一天给她准备好了，所以她白天也不用做什么家务，只要一心一意陪宝宝就行。家务都等我下班回家再做。
我现在就是enjoy跟我妈，跟宝宝相处的最后一个月了。然后等我公婆来就把他送到我老公那里。

略低，最近在电台里听到好几次，很欢快悦耳，清新如春天，正是当令歌，刚开始都没
听出是Madonna。查了一下true blue的意思：原意是英国考文垂地区（Coventry, UK）
出产的一种蓝布，百洗而不褪色，remaining "fast" or "true". 后来用true blue比
喻steadfast，尤其指保守党的死硬支持者，e.g. true blue Tories. Madonna的歌词
里只唱了true love，没有一句true blue，这个歌名是指steadfast love还是有其他用
意，我没查到，有知情者请说说。

想多交点钱求个安心。期间很少看病所以很少和他们打交道
直到去年10月份踢球伤了韧带，医生让我做了MRI检查，同时开了一副knee brace
然后恶心的事情就来了：
blue cross去年12月写信给我拒付knee brace（$100左右），当时想想也就$100不想麻
烦，自己就把这钱付给诊所了
今天又收到Blue Cross的信，说拒付MRI的钱，说什么MRI is not medically
necessary，让我自己付钱，或者证明这个MRI是necessary的。 MMD，我怎么证明MRI是
必须的，分明就是想赖帐。
想想受伤当天，我膝盖剧痛，但是没上emergency room就是怕Blue Cross不付那个钱，
找了个老远的医生就是因为他当天看。 没想到Blue Cross连正常的诊费都不想付
今年一月份医生还要我去做physical therapy，因为太忙没去作。 想想如果做了blue

发帖数: 6689 | 18 看《中国好歌曲》之前不知道张岭，虽然他是一等一的贝司手，但这本身并不打动我。
但他写的blues，太对味了。没想到中文blues能写到这么精彩的地步。
当然我不是搞音乐的，对爵士和blues的了解主要就是在诺拉六年的熏陶，朋友里还有
一个DJ，研究爵士史的，所以这个类型的音乐听得比较多，跟NOLA的气质是一模一样的。
这个张岭的《喝酒blues》特别打动我，我觉得特别厉害，主要有两点。一是旋律和歌
词都比较简单实在，没有R&B的变奏花活，直抒胸臆，但字句间蕴含深情，有大量的情
节留白。二是有幽默感，尤其中间那句，”她跟我说爱我，一辈子都跟我过”，下一小
节就变成了“可我昨天才知道，她跟别人也这么说”，张岭唱得口气里有怨、自嘲、自
娱，这tm就是blues的精髓啊。
后面嗷一嗓子，数酒，由口白变歌唱，自然流畅，一气呵成，实在太带劲了。
布鲁斯不是幽怨，不是下个雨喝个咖啡搞个小忧郁就成了。中文歌模仿blues的很少有
到位的，充其量是采取了爵士乐的格式来变调流行。张岭的《喝酒blues》是我听过的
唯一一首真正唱出味道的中文布鲁斯。 |

。到了Jetty，看到有人中鱼，好现象。看看水已经退了，水位比较低。Jetty头上的位
置已经挤了几个人，就找了个位子用Bucktail。一会儿就中了一个小Blue，２０寸。
Blue会把Bucktail的毛咬掉，就换上了铁片，一会儿铁片也中鱼。Blue的力量满大，加
上退潮的时候得水流，拉起来很是过瘾。共拉上七条，都在２０到２５寸，最后铁片尾
上的毛全掉光了。Jetty头上的人回去的时候，有个人拿了两条大的Blue，估计有２８
～３０寸的样子，能够拉一条３０寸的Blue应该很带劲。太阳从云里出来了，没有了咬

发帖数: 379 | 27 星期三下班回家，吃饭、打包，赶9点开往奥林匹亚半岛的轮渡。8点多往西开过520桥
的时候，正前方已近日落，晚霞里有整个奥林匹亚山脉的剪影，白天是越来越短了。在
101的山路上看到一起车祸，大概是我这个方向的车越线超车的时候和对面的车撞到一
起了，一地的碎玻璃啊。后来一路看到好些警车和救护车往这个方向开，不知道事故有
多严重。快凌晨1点才到的Hoh Vistor Center，一大群羊堵住了拐进营地的路口。好不
容易找了个缝钻进去，营地几乎已经满了，转了两圈才找到一个挨着卫生间的位置。第
二天早上在Vistor Center门口的停车场集合，Suzy给我带了一个Bear Canister，因为
我们计划在Glacier上camp，所以这玩意是必须的。我这次已经很努力的pack light了
，比如找人借了个1lb左右的bivy bag混三个晚上。但就group gear而言，我觉得pack
的效率太低了，比如这个快3 lb重的canister每个人都要背一个，而我的食物其实连一
半的体积都没占到。满满一罐气也是原样背下来的，连炉子、滤水器这样的东西基本都

凌晨2-3点的时候下了一场暴雨，雨声很大，都被吵醒了。凌晨4点50起床，5点一刻到
潜店报道，困死了。早饭是buffet，我去的晚了点，好吃的都没了:-( 只好捡了个没人
要的大面包啃。潜店食堂挂着的两个LCD上在轮流播放潜水的片子，美轮美奂，感觉比
我看到的漂亮多了，呵呵。吃过早饭以后，6点一刻正式发船。今天天不好，风浪比昨
天大多了，海浪都打到快艇二楼了，左右摇摆的也很厉害。昨天很多人都在二楼晒风，
今天刚开出没多久，就全下来了。我怕晕船，不敢坐在封闭的船舱里。船舱外面有个放
午餐的大盒子，我就坐在上面，中间有一次风浪连我带整个午餐盒全给掀翻了，真恐怖
。半路上看到了double rainbow，划过船尾的天空。

Blue ray rom今年7月份制定了1.0版本，确定了物理层面的规格
9月份要制定所采用的视频codec
现在来看，总体码流是54M/s
视频占用40M/s 最多
MPEG2肯定是要用的，因为要考虑到录制播放HDTV的TS流的问题
压缩比更加高的视频codec肯定也是要的
最优异的看来是H.264/AVC FRExt ，是否采用VC9（M$的wm9），
对于blue ray阵营来说，主要是政治上的考虑。

Cash Everyday 和 Preferred卡。就直接打电话去问可以从student blue转过去不。CS
直接就给
转了。我转了Blue Cash Preferred，要年费$75的。
主要是看着3%的gas cash back，因为手上没有油卡了。grocery 6%也不错。正好父母
要过来，买
菜能花不少钱。可惜costco不算grocery。
找CS要那个promotion offer，说只给新卡holder
有成功waive掉这个年费的同学吗？ |

Damned good card.

发帖数: 5613 | 38 根据5%加油这个category来说，你应该是用的old blue cash，因为blue cash
preferred加油是3%，而blue cash everyday加油是2%。
old blue cash在加油这个category是有cap的，每次加油$400以内部分算5%，超过$400
的部分算1%，所以如果你买$500+$4.95的one vanilla visa gc的话，$400算5%，多出
的$104.95算1%。
另外一种情况算1%是最近申请的old blue cash有一年5万的5%的额度，如果你七七八八
开销超过5万了剩下消费都算1%。不过我觉得这种可能性应该比较小吧。 |

不知道。我们打算选plan A。然后还说需要了解具体情况登陆Blue Cross Blue Shield

please join us this Sunday.
We will meet at Trailside Museum, and then hike via red dot line to Eliot
Tower and Weather Observatory, which probably is the highest point of Blue
Hills. From there, we will continue on Skyline Trial to Blue Hills
Headquarters.

hospital.
有哪位知道么？

发帖数: 197 | 45 我以前用的是blue shield California PPO，很少看病，公司每年只能改一次，发现怀
孕之后不让改，用PPO用的已经花了好几千了。现在生了孩子终于可以换保险了，想换
成blue shield California HMO，但打电话给Scripps说所有的Scripps Clinic的
doctor都不支持Blue shield California HMO,只支持PPO，因为我的OB和现在的儿医都
是Scripps Clinic的，不怎么想换，尤其是我半年内可能还要做个小手术，想一直让现
在的OB看。
但是我在Blue shield网站上找医生时，如果是查Access+HMO，就找不到我的医生，但
如果是Local Access+HMO就可以找到，我的理解是应该是local access+HMO,因为是
California吗，然后我分别给医生的office打电话，儿医的医生给我转到Scripps，告
诉我，所有的doctor都只支持PPO，但我OB的office转到的接电话的人说可以支持HMO，
我问她说怎么有人说不支持HMO，她说支持，弄的我也不知道信谁的。

潜店报道，困死了。早饭是buffet，我去的晚了点，好吃的都没了:-( 只好捡了个没人
要的大面包啃。潜店食堂挂着的两个LCD上在轮流播放潜水的片子，美轮美奂，感觉比
我看到的漂亮多了，呵呵。吃过早饭以后，6点一刻正式发船。今天天不好，风浪比昨
天大多了，海浪都打到快艇二楼了，左右摇摆的也很厉害。昨天很多人都在二楼晒风，
今天刚开出没多久，就全下来了。我怕晕船，不敢坐在封闭的船舱里。船舱外面有个放
午餐的大盒子，我就坐在上面，中间有一次风浪连我带整个午餐盒全给掀翻了，真恐怖
。半路上看到了double rainbow，划过船尾的天空。
两个多小时以后进入The Great Blue Hole，这个从天上看很漂亮，在水里却不识庐山
真面目了。快进入的时候倒是可以很清晰的看到水面呈现出截然不同的两种颜色，反映
出海面以下水深浅的剧烈变化。只是边界太大了，看不全，不知道是不是Hole的边缘。
