就只有现在这个时候才有了。这周我们一气买了1袋orange, 1袋pink orange, 3袋
blood orange！放在一起比比看，颜色差异挺明显吧？
Blood orange是一种特殊的品种，内含丰富的花青素因此颜色血红，所以特别抗氧化抗
衰老的呢。和橘子比有种特殊的口味，我很喜欢。 Pink orange我还从来没听说过，这
次恰巧看到超市里有就一起买了。味道我觉得和普通橘子一模一样啊。。。上网查了查
，似乎也没有这种品种。可能是新的杂交产物？

pressure the other day and got 96/49 66(pulse). Checked the blood pressure meter against other people and found it seem to be accurate. But several times when I check my blood pressure at the doctors during annual

1.2mm和1.3mm(twins).然后做了blood test, 把血滴进5个点。过了一个星期告诉我说
，lab的人screwed up the blood test,要我再验血，然后有抽了一筒血，送到加州一个lab说
他们可以做一个精确度比较高的test. 结果今天（过了3个星期），医生通知我说，他们试验失
败了，取消了blood test. 这样，他们没办法估计twins得唐氏的风险，整个实验失败。
请问姐妹们遇过这种情况吗？ nucal thinkness本身能不能判断得唐氏的风险？这种情
况下，医院还应该charge我做test的钱吗（我交了$40 co-pay). 顺便问一下，大B超一般是第几
周做？ 我现在第17周，医生没有给我order大B超，下次的appointment是20周，如

发现比上一个月轻了，身高正常（一直维持在75%），儿医不确定体重总是不太长的原
因，让我们带宝宝去做blood test；经过我们和儿医讨论，决定两周之后如果体重没有
增加4oz以上的话，就去做blood test。我们尽量每天都给她换一些好吃的，可是好像
总是吸引不了她，或是只能吸引她不到十分钟，唉～想问问版上有没有类似经历的父母
，可以给一些建议吗，让宝宝增加食欲也好，关于这种blood test的信息也好，心里挺

果有相关的病，有cord blood比没有治疗的希望大很多什么之类的。其实整个的费用倒
不是很多，1500+150*N(N=year)。
个人觉得没啥用，不过lp很信。比较好奇又多少人到底保存了cord blood的？又有多少
使用的实例？

而且，这个blood质量好坏，由太多因素决定了，比如医生抽取的时间太早，new boron
吃不消，太晚，质量又不好，抽取的量过少，将来就算有用，也不够孩子用

That's if you're sure to bank the cord blood. Keep in mind, the more cord
blood you bank, the less for the baby.
But if you're having the baby at a hospital, it's likely that the cord will
be clamped and cut quickly. Then probably doesn't matter either way.

他说他的孕妇里存脐带血的大约是50/50.
如果是换他自己的话，他会存，但是这是我自己的选择。
他不建议donate。他说public bank服务差，到最后都没人来pick up。 不知道是否如

被他这么一说，我这两天开始serious的research cord blood的讯息了。 想问问班上
JM们几个扫盲问题：
1. 宝宝的脐带血，siblings如果配对的话可以用。 那其他的家庭成员呢？
2. 在CBR稍微看了下，大约cost是存到18岁的话是5千多，存到25岁是6千多。 大家都
是用哪个option呢？
3. 我有认识的白血病和地中海贫血的人，但是家里直系亲属里没这种病。这就能结论
说我们孩子得这种病的几率很低吗？很有可能cord blood存下来都用不着。 （当然，
我也希望用不着）
4. 除了cord blood，有没有人存cord tissue的啊？ |

钱。几个月前约了一个医生做体检，结果去了之后就叫了个护士量量血压，听听胸，拍
了拍肚子和膝盖。。。最后医生叫护士做了个基本的blood test.
之后收到两份账单，一份是原价267, 保险公司付了245，需要我付22块钱，包括了lab
test 的费用。
另一份97块钱，没写是包括什么，也没有保险公司cover任何部分。打电话问，自动应
答机说那是医生阅读 blood test 报告的费用。。。听到这里觉得好坑人啊！
我以为医生看blood test 报告是包括在体检费里的，结果还给我另外一个账单，不知
道这在美国是普遍的，还是我应该去找医生argue? |

需要进一步x-ray。
我住的附近有一家clinic (woodbury, Minnesota), HealstEast, 可以做blood test
for TB,但是要将样品送到该州南部一个城市Rochester, MN, 这样最少需要一个礼拜。
不知附近什么地方可以blood test, 这样很快就知道结果？
网上风声鹤唳，5月或6月eb2要倒退到2007年8月，所以希望尽快能在4月份交上去，麻
烦就在485体检上面。我自己有足够的时间体检，打疫苗，哪怕是tb blood test,送到
别的地方也没有关系，两个星期之后总会有结果吧。可是ld现在在国内，希望一过来，就能
体检，最好第二天就能交485,急啊。

，但是不能重复测试。

不过最近随便翻了些信息，好像现阶段用自身cord blood能治愈的病不太多，用到的几
率是几千分之一。 而且最近stem cell的研究好像用体细胞可以转换成stem cell. 如
果这样的话，cord blood是不是将来就没什么特殊用处了？
还有如果有多个小孩，是不是每一个都要存呀？

while increased the dose of hydrochlorothiazide.
I don't know what your dad's usual blood pressure readings are, so I can't
comment on what stage of hypertension he is in right now. I'm guessing the
doctor wanted better control of his blood pressure (probably the reading
taken at his recent office visit was a little bit high?), so the doctor

UREA NITROGEN, BLOOD(BUN) 17 H 3-14 mg/dL.
All other statistics are in range and she has Hep B Ab and she was never
infected with Hep B virus.
After googling, looks like it is a sign of liver and kidney problem. Does
anybody have any hint? |

When she was young, the blood pressure was quite low, like 60-90.
It might be that her heart problem might have played in a role.
She used to have a problem that her heart is beating very slow.
I am not sure if she is recovered now. Need to check.

是80% 以上，后来逐步递减，一直也还ok，50%, ... 30%。。。 半年来则基本是10%左

normally，ok，。。。 说这阶段就这样，还说遗传因素开始起作用了（因为我很瘦）
。但今天医生也不乐观了，说要blood test。叫2-4周后再去discuss。大家觉得blood

宝宝每天饮食起居我觉得挺好，睡一夜到亮。daycare说她吃得很多，能一口气吃11个
小饺子。在家多数时候吃的也很多，除了生病那几天胃口差。但为什么长肉这么艰难哪

糖尿病不能捐，作罢
想给老二存，今天问了OB（不是上次那个），说私人存太贵，意义似乎也是不大（一来
如果孩子本人有病，存的Cord Blood不能用，兄弟姐妹用上的概率为75%，父母是50%，
祖父母是25%），家族里没有人有血癌，她自己给孩子都没存，还说捐给Public，是不
收孕期糖尿病的妈妈的，不过可以捐给Research，好犹豫啊
知道有些妈妈存了，大多数妈妈没存，这方面的争论很多，版上也讨论过多次了，唉，
咋还这么纠结呢。
有存的妈妈给说说，如果能拿到referral，discount什么的，最后的花费是多少钱，一

我没有单问cord blood的quote,单是在网站上比较过。viacord贵是因为太多钱用在
marketing上了，我觉得很不值。太小的lab到现在可能只有一两次transplant, 还有的
