这位教授已经做了二十多年数学和工程的教育工作。
教授今天给回信——最后一句太鼓舞人心了——翻译成中文就是——
“如果你解决了2个难题，围棋数学将会席卷美国的每一个学校……”。

夏眉很快就安定了下来，房子是师姐已经帮忙找好了的，干净温馨，房租贵是贵了点，
但是值得。系里报名，注册，交保险费，注课，买二手书，都是师兄一手领着办的。直
到后来，夏眉看着bbs上那些帮了些忙就大骂新生不懂感恩图报的老生，就觉得自己遇上
了太多太多好人。
还没来美国之前，新东方把女生在美国的待遇吹捧得跟国宝大熊猫似的。夏眉听在耳里
，也就信了个两三分。夏眉还算是眉清目秀的那一类女生。'跟个白雪公主似的'一位具
有丰富人生经验的成熟男士这样评价{她老爸}；'美得都冒泡了'一位正值青春年少的大
好青年如此结论(她弟) 。所以尽管不大相信新东方的谣言，从没有憧憬过来美之后，出
飞机场时众男生夹道欢迎的壮观情景，但想着周末买个菜什么的，应该不成什么大问题
。
来了后才发现完全不是那么回事，中国留学生的圈子也就那么大，偌大的系里，availa
ble的男性虽说不少，但是除去十四岁以下的儿童(同学家的娃)，四十岁以上的老教授，
剩下的也寥寥可数了。再减去身高1。65m以下(夏眉是读着亦舒'微踮脚 |
