not a viable currency. People investing a great deal of money in it makes
it work. I don't really care about the technical side, but I did have my
online buddy from MIT take a look and he assured me it's reasonably secure (
Top 500 super computers in the world combined can not hack the system, the
only way to hack the system is having more combined computing power than the
current bitcoin mining network.) |

I have anything to gain by discussing it here? I see this as a great
investment opportunity, and I invested in it to test the waters 5 days ago,
and sharing the results here. I didn't ask anyone to invest in it with me,
did I? It did turn out to be a great investment, I have almost doubled my
money in 5 days.

cost, sold at $30 when I discovered mining (see post 29 in this thread)
and used the profit and bought 4 mining machines, been mining for a week
now, got another 28 coin from mining, going to sell them when I
accumulate another 300 coins from mining. Even if bitcoin market crash
to 0, I can still sell the mining machines on ebay for at least 80% of
their cost. There's no way for me to not profit from bitcoin. |

郁金香……哪一个不是（至少短期内）limitted supply？理论上说
和bitcoin一样，也能作为支付。（类似bit coin，需要去exchange
换现金，然后用现金支付）
你说bitcoin有privacy。要我说普洱能喝，锦鲤能看，藏獒能看家，
郁金香能摆设…… |

reached $30. It stayed above $30 for another 2 days, reaching $31.90
at the peak. But on June 8th I already posted that I used my profits
to buy mining machines (post 29), I can't use my profits unless I sold.
Believe it or not, up to you.
I am still firmly invested in bitcoin, with 4 machines mining (cost $5k).
It's just that I got lucky with the first trade, and it's running on

这个游戏最终的结果只能是lose everything。就算有人暴富，
一旦政府介入，非法印钞罪可不是好玩的。比别的ponzi还不如，
谁让你们自己claim是currency的？呵呵
技术上说，其实如果从你这里买了bitcoin，赚钱还罢了，赔钱
了去打911说有人诈骗，你就等着进局子吧。呵呵

google get involved if it were illegal?)
3. I do not sell bitcoin to individuals at all, I trade them on a public
exchange like tradehill.com.

questions since I am a minor expert on PC hardware, and have hand built 4

guaranteed. Online gambling sites would possibly become a big user of
bitcoin in the future.
btw, proper p2p movie download is untraceable also, but I think 90% of the
people have no idea how to do it.

Bitcoin实现完全可以工作，至于多安全，多可靠其实现在不是太大问题。你就算用了
NSA私人订制的curve作ECDSA，不说还是有人会用。这东西代码在那里，新的ICO随随便
便的事情，不要太简单。
主要问题是这个场子生态链多大，到底估值可以到多少。现在的估值我看是投机占多一
半，想现在投资的要看清楚。其他更多的技术流理论都是忽悠的幌子而已。
