Ki-duk tends to have a lot to say in his films, even with his
mostly silent protagonists, as in The Isle, Bad Guy and
Samaria Girl. His theme has always been extreme, but I don't
think 'sick' was the first word coming to my mind after I
watched them.
I didn't have a chance to see Binjip and Spring, Summer,
Autumn, Winter ... and Spring. But I could have imagined
they were pretty verbose too.
