发帖数: 914 | 2 多谢以上各位的回复，其实就是纠结学费问题，毕竟是家里出钱。
目标留美四大工作。说考虑的因素就是好就业+便宜。
纠结点在于Baruch传说中的黄金location是不是真的能转化为好的工作机会，多花2w刀
为这么个location值不值得。
还挺难选择的，希望大家能多提点建议，非常感谢！
Pros
Baruch 1.地址好，机会多，就算四大去不了一堆公司，机构的都在附近，近水楼台先得
月。
Binghamton 1.便宜。一年能读完的话，加上生活费也就2万5左右，就算要读1年半，不
到4w也能解决。
Baruch 2. Reputation好，在纽约校友多。有朋友在纽约工作的说他们那里很多都是他
家会计毕业的。
Binghamton 2.好像就业也不错。很多去NYC四大的，小蜜说去年毕业的一届20个中国人
有5个去了四大。跟业界关系也很好。NYC四大一堆校友。所以不知道在就业方面两者差
别大不大。
Baruch 3.也是因为地址好，所以如果找到intern的话平时也可以做。这样会节省一部分
费用。-----求证实可行性

为什么不推荐Binghamton呢？ 谢谢！
我自己的想法是：
Binghamton：离NY近， 离LG也近（NJ）， 听说他家商学院本科很好， 但是又听说招
很多中国学生， 我怕去了会不会英文难提高啊（不要笑我, haha)
Buffalo:离LG远， 但是感觉商学院比较好， 学术水平高（如果PhD肯定比Binghamton
好）， 而且好像Program比较小， 可以得到的指导比较多。 就是不知道以后找工作好
不好找。
大家再帮我参谋参谋， 就快做决定了 |

brook本科生源比binghamton稍弱，研究生总体排名最高，有一些理工科系研究生排名
前30. Buffor本科比stony brook稍弱，研究生不少科系比stony brook弱1，20名的样
子。binghamton 研究生不如buffalo. 本科和研究生排名最低的是albany。 |

However, Binghamton is a very good school in general with a real campus.
Both schools have on campus recruiting by the big 4 and top companies. It
would help if you actively participate in their Accounting societies and
build the relationships.

leigh. 2006 or 2005, PWC hired 60 undergraduates from Binghamton. Binghamon
has far better Accounting program than buffalo. |

对的，找intern的公司很多很多很多很多
是的，我知道好几个大公司的CFO或者controller都是Baruch毕业的
部分
嗯的，我那时念书的时候就在middle town做intern，一个小时25，一个星期将近40小时
暑假就是40+小时啦，赚的不少哦

对的，不少都是在职MBA，不过full time的中国学生也不少
已的
哪有好几百。。。把不同级的加起来也许。。。或者。。。maybe。。。
晚上上课就是为了方便你白天做intern啊，上班啊。。。为什么感觉不好？学校就是这样
设置为了方便那些读在职MBA的人

好不容易来趟美国，还是来NYC吧，别计较那点儿小钱了
1k可能比较紧，1k5可能比较靠谱
不知道Binghamton
Baruch有，一个小时13.99.。。我那个时候的行情
看年景了，但是每个学校都有找到和找不到工作的人，你自己努力就是了

贵个几块钱，但是有wifi,速度一般。两家公司都可以凭学生证打折。发车时间可以查
各自的网站，两个公司加起来大概一个钟头能有一班车。 |

campus back then. It's 刘醇逸's alma mater. :-)
The housing was dirt cheap 10 yrs ago, even cheaper now because the area is
economically depressed. You can rent a room in a nice house for $300
including utilities.
Students usually live in nearby Vestal or Endicott. Johnson City is further
away but cheaper. |
