这电影既有黑色幽默，突然让大家在剧院捧腹大笑；
又有想真实不矫情的细节，感动人心；
最重要的是有思考，极具现实意义。
在我看来，是9部提名影片中，最有力的争夺者，又刚刚获得号称奥斯卡前哨战的金球
奖。
即使最后没有抱得小金人，也是非常值得一看的。

故事讲述了女儿遭奸杀的母亲在警方大半年无力破案的情况下，租下公路边三块广告牌
责问警长。
而警长其实很努力破案，但无能为力，又得了癌症，在试图与母亲沟通未果后，离开妻
子女儿选择了自杀。同侪警员极度悲痛，暴打了广告商一顿致其重伤。。。
又发生一系列事件，把各人物命运纠缠在一起，最终在罪与罚中实现自我救赎。
之所以建议海外华人看这部片，是因为我们有着良好的教育背景和理性思维，又处在自
