I have read some of the messages here, have to say you Asians are not that

I've lived in Beijing and Shanghai both for more than 5 years so I can say
with authority that in general the Beijing people are far nicer, friendlier
and with a much better sense of humour. They're also far less obsessed with
money. For lots of Shanghainese, money is the only topic they have any
opinions about.
