1）飞机
因为我们从东岸飞要5个小时，回城的时候就把CARSEAT带上飞机了，俩个娃都睡了一路
。周围的美国爸妈羡慕嫉妒。。。去的时候，把CARSEAT从车上卸下在CURB就CHECK IN
了，这样不用推着过安检一直到GATE，也省事。两者都可尝试，看娃的个性和飞行的时
间是否是NAP TIME。
2）租车
我一直以为PDX的RENTAL CAR都是在机场里的，结果租了个BUDGET，是唯一几个OFFSITE
的之一，要坐SHUTTLE的。有娃的还是问清楚租车公司是不是ONSITE的，省的麻烦。
3）宾馆
在朋友有家住了几天，也在外面住了几天。
DOUBLE TREE BEAVERTON $119 带免费早餐，早餐比那种CONTINENTAL的要好。（位置中
心，离BEAVERTON的朋友都很近，据说是NIKE安排面试的人住的地方，不知道真假）。
我们住的一个SUITE，厅里和卧室都有大电视。厅里方便会客（如有朋友STOP BY可以聊

Beaverton近了.
185街和Baseline交口的火车站的边上有一个daycare center, 还不错, 认识的人里有
好几个的小孩放在那儿的.
185街和walker的交口有一个learning(daycare) center, 原来的老板很严格的, 不知
道现在怎么样了,
walker到头, 有一个daycare center, 嗯, 据说是最新最先进的, 有不少电脑的说(电
脑要从娃娃抓起?), 价格也是一流的, 据信有很多intel的子弟在那儿.
Beaverton的Apartment很多很多, 好象沿185街就有十多家. 价格环境房间大小布局都
不一样. 如果你在OHSU Hill, 你可能得选在铁路沿线的, 那也有很多.现在有move in
优惠的也不少. 看你有什么要求了.
说起找apartment, 记得偶当初来之前, 让老板帮偶选个Apartment, 老板说来了之后很
容易找到的. 到了之后, 老板推荐偶去住The Lakes, 那是个很好的apar |

在82nd Ave和Beaverton的中间，即使你认为可以安排上门取件来解决，大家对地区的
不同要求，你把店放在China Town会增加很多的交通成本。你只要注意几乎所有美国连
锁店，在Porland的布局都是Beaverton和82nd 各一个就应该知道为什么了。 |

了。
新移民集中的是比较好的区，在beaverton的话像hillsboro和tigard都包括了。82街那
边不时好区，也不太安全，虽然租金便宜，但是不见得大家为了一个包裹会开那么久的
车。如果要兼顾东区的话，以后在DOWNTOWN开个就好了，那里也比82街号，而且这样的
话北边也照顾了。你现在开到82街的话那你就必须在beaverton/tigard附近开个分店。
另外全一是加盟的么？你能详细讲讲么？ |

发帖数: 12430 | 30 Portland Southeast那边中国人挺多的, SE 82nd 都是中国人.
然后就是Beaverton northwest那边. beaverton就离你上班太远了,当然了你从弯曲过
来也许习惯了每天两个小时的commute那这点距离就不算什么了. SE那边多数是老一辈
的移民,许多cantonese. 不过好一点的馆子什么的那里多许多. 买菜也方便许多. 好像
没有什么好学校, 不过 again, 上私校好了.
shopping mall吗, downtown有, beaverton有,SE 也有, vancourver也有. outlet 市
中心没有, 要开个30-45分钟去woodburn.
你也可以搬过来先apt住着,看看情况,摸摸底, 看怎么方便,喜欢哪里再决定买房子.
毕竟我们说再多最终还是你自己的 life. |

金额不对（感觉他们现在逮着一个是一个），估计被下了
黑手，告诉我机油有漏的地方，查一下150大洋，被我拒绝。
现发现漏的还挺快，明天就得去修才行，哪位老大能推荐一
个用过的靠铺的店？双包子感谢。
我的车才60k miles,从没有过问题。以前在beaverton honda
换过几次油，刚开始还不错，自从有一次他们说一个灯泡坏了，
居然没告诉我就强行给我换了后（修之前没给我打电话），
就好久没去过。
这次主要是换rear differential fluid, 结果被beaverton honda
搞惨了。建议大家不要去挨宰。 |

议，准备在Cedar Hills or Cedar Mill找个价格适中的1bd/2bd apt.不知道有谁住在
那附近，有什么比较好的可以推荐。对apt的要求不多。就是希望环境相对安静，干净
。网上看了看貌似rating好一点的都要1000左右。不知道有没有800-900的deal.
其实有个朋友住在hillsboro，原本想在那附近找房子，也好有个照应。可是同事说那
样坐车上班会很慢。不知道可不可以开车到beaverton的车站然后再坐车去downtown.地
图上看hillsboro到portland也不过10几迈。就怕早上起来交通堵塞的厉害。不知道谁
有类似的经验，可以提供点信息。
另外beaverton附近有没有什么好的地方可以打篮球或者羽毛球？
by the way,beaverton light track station 附近有免费parking么？
