用的。网上不少信息都显示，VO有时只是根据一定的判断，做出了subjec 或 not
subject的判断，但未必任何情况下都正确，不确定还是要获得DoS的advisory opinion
,这是最权威的。譬如：

In some instances, you will find the notation: “bearer is (is not) subject
to 212.e home residency rule” on your J-1 visa stamp and a second notation

国博士后.现在发现当时的DS-２０１９上面的"subject to the two-year residence
requirement based on" 以及" government financing"均被签证官打钩.签证上面也写
着"bearer is subject to section 212e".
我去瑞士留学之前有申请国家公派,被选上了,但是我没有要(因为瑞士的老板后来说可
以support我了).而且我也拿过优秀自费留学生奖学金,这应该说明我和中国政府没有经
济关系了啊.是不是这里的"government financing"是指瑞士政府?
我这种情况能申请豁免吗?有没有类似情况的朋友?
马上要申请豁免了,希望大家能帮我解答一下,或者指导一下下一步怎么办? |

于实在受不了老板的变态，在没有考虑周全的情况下就离开了美国。我护照J1 visa上
写有Bearer is subject to section 212(E), TWO YEAR RULE does apply (China)，
但是在DS2019上没有勾画。最近联系国内大使馆，广州那边回复说可以继续申请新的J1
，如果项目不一样的话，需要面签。到底是不是这样呢？我看帖子里有回复说可以O签
证过去，然后到美国后再申请豁免第一个J1，重新办理新的J1，是这样的步骤吗？非常

确的英文

学生服务中心 办的出生证也顺利 通过了 （也许遇到的IO 人品好）。 现分享一下这
个办理过程。
这个出生证只有一张纸， 中英文对照。后面加了一个中国同事的声明：上面的信息是
正确的，以及他的签名。 然后我们一起到这个服务中心，验明正身后，中心的主任 很
小心翼翼的 盖上了这个服务中心的印章。485的通过证明了这个印章还是很有用的。就
我所知，包括我，还有告诉我这个信息的两个国人，都是这样做的出生证，都过了。不
幸的是，帮我签名的那位同事的 出生证 被 RFE 了。
我从第三国以 J1 的身份来的美国。签证上面写着 （BEARER IS NOT SUBJECT TO
SECTION 212(E)）. 所以我也一直没有办理 wavier. 后来J1 转H1， 以及绿卡都没有
要wavier.
这是我自己的个人经历。 也许遇到不同的 IO，情况就会不一样。写出来，希望对大家

1. 手机直接使用国内联通SIM卡
这次验证了Verizon手机在国内可以直接使用。我的是NOTE 3，我老婆的是IPHONE 5。
在淘宝上提前买的联通的3G卡，带号。我的V家的IPAD 3，也能用联通SIM上网。
买卡的时候，别忘了让卖家剪卡！！
IPHONE插上联通的卡就能用，可以打电话，短信，上网，微信等等等等。
NOTE 3要修改一个APN。Setting --> More Settings --> Mobile Network --> Access
Point Names --> 这个要在插入了联通SIM卡后才能添加新的。我的设置如下：
Name: 3gnet
APN: 3gnet
MCC: 460
MNC: 01
APN TYPE: Default,supl
Bearer: Unspecified
Mobile Virtual Network Operator Type: None
别的选项都是缺省的“NOT SET”。
如果回国三周，感觉最少要有1个G的流量。

藏独闹得越凶，中国人民对他们越仇恨。现在国内的舆论都是埋怨政府镇压力度不够，
可以想象以后西藏的喇嘛们日子不好过了。他们这么闹，我看就是自己运动内部有绝望
情绪，要抓住奥运这个机会发泄而已。
西方媒体煽风点火，把中国最亲西方的团体--年轻受过高等教育的网民--硬是推到了反
面。以前网上都是骂中国政府的，现在都改成骂西方政府了。和平演变的事业一夜之间
大倒退。我看他们的目的不过是为了转移自己国内人民对于经济危机的注意力罢了。就
像那个espn采访的黑人torch bearer说的，让大家把仇恨发泄到反华上，而不是反关掉
工厂的资本家。
全球华人游行，我觉得其实更坐实了我们强藏独弱的形象，同情藏独的人恐怕更多了。
不过我们自己的目的达到了，大家出气了，华人更团结、更自信了。

Antonio Ranch 旁边。
整个仪式是按照基督徒的形式走的。有中美牧师轮流致辞，引导大家唱圣歌。最后是亲
戚朋友讲话，其中中国驻旧金山领事馆也派了代表。在Pall bearer (扶棺者）中还有
赵在Hasting法学院的dean.
最感人的应是赵的Husting同学和另一个UCLA校友的致辞。从中我了解到，赵在取得护
士证书后，还是去了UCLA又读了本科，然后才进入UC Hasting Law school. 2002 -

，self-made person. 我觉得其中有许多东西值得我敬仰与学习。
赵霞是在浙大校园长大，父亲是教授，也算书香门第了。我觉得这一点对她后来的人生

With the fourth pillar failing to rise, the opening ceremonies continued
