declares independence the entire Western World is beyond fucked. It appears
that the Europeans can no longer keep their petty differences to themselves

Dictionary.com是比较权威的发音。也有iphone的app，遇见词不会，就可以查一下。
这个没什么，native speaker都经常查。稍微懒一下，都很有可能悲剧。我就曾经大悲
剧过。
那时候来了这儿有大概两年了，英语已经很利索的时候，我想跟我老板说，
”it's beautiful out there, people are basking in the sun"
bask(发音：霸斯克）这个词，我在报纸上见过，但是没查，我就说成了basque（发音
：贝斯克）
当时老板惊了，因为ｂａｓｑｕｅ是把肉烤得吱吱冒油的意思，她还以为外面大烤活人
。。。。。
一秒之后，反应过来，笑岔了气儿了，
说：“奥，原来你要说bask，哈哈，其实她们也在basque， nice perspective“
