Nineteen months after former New Jersey Governor Corzine
became chairman and chief executive officer, MF Global Holdings
Ltd. yesterday filed for bankruptcy. Corzine’s decision to boost
risk-taking, including a $6.3 billion wager with the firm’s own
money on European government debt, triggered the collapse.

发帖数: 81 | 4 当不少右派把Barack Obama说是社会主义者，我就很纳闷，从Obama的实际推行的政策
来看，跟小布什相比根本没有什么本质不同：
(1) 外交政策上：基本上就是Bush的延续，Guantanamo Bay也没有关，还把drone
attack推到极致。
(2）医疗：这边有Obamacare，那头有medicar part D。
(3) Bush tax cut：目前也基本上延续下来了，除了年收入在$400K以上的。
(4) 华尔街：Neil Barofsky的Bailout一书中暴露的，Obama, Geithner, ben
bernanke对华尔街甚至比Hank Paulson还要松，Eric Holder承认的这些大银行变得不
但是too big to fail，而且too big to prosecute，甚至包括HSBC给墨西哥毒老大洗
钱的也是交点罚金就了事，就如Warrne在这个视频结尾所说的，美国变得是两个阶层有

发帖数: 81 | 6 Obamacare很多措施都还没有开始实行，我不知道你老板要多交的钱是因为什么？医疗
保险多年以来一直都是高于通货膨胀的速度在增长的，这两年的增长部分中只有一部分
可能是因为Obamacare的原因。一个例子是已经生效的ban discrimination against
pre-existing conditions，就可能对年青的、身体健康的不利，他们要因此多交钱，
但你不觉得这样的条款是社会进步嘛？所以你要说你的老板因为Obamacare多交税，那
你能不能展开说说到底是obamacare的那一条引起的？
没有obamacare之前，穷人到了不得不医的时候到了急救室，最后的钱还不是纳税人掏
的钱嘛？如果因为有基本的健康保险，在小病的时候就能及时治疗，最后整个社会在医
疗的总成本肯定是降低的。你说为什么美国要比其他发达国家多花一倍的钱在医疗上？
另外Obamacare根本不是社会主义，public option在两党谈判的初期就已经被取消了。
你去问一下加拿大的普通人，问他们愿不愿意跟美国的医疗系统换？
