【场地】
圣地亚哥的球馆，性质上和图书馆一样。基本上是公共室内多功能球馆，可以打篮球、
排球和羽毛球，很多也有乒乓球。大多数是免费的，有几处收费，但是也很少。一般开
车半小时的范围内，都能找到一处。
一般都是自己带拍子和球。有的地方会提供拍子和球，但是基本上使你兴趣全无之外，
没有什么其他的用途。

warehouse, badminton avenue，还有ebay上的别人验证过的卖家。当然前提是你要知
道自己要买什么样的拍子，如果有具体型号的更好，就刷网站等deal就好了。不过美国
这边的拍子整体价格要比国内贵不少，偶尔打折的时候能买到还算不错的，badminton
avenue去年看到过有victor的超级波31,37打折，85刀，还加缠线。
远一点从ebay上有澳大利亚的卖家，拍子加上运费还要比美国便宜，还有日本的乐天，
加拿大的shopbadmintononline偶尔也有李宁的高端拍子打折。上面提到的加拿大的
Yuma也可以，他们在ebay上也有点店，如果赶上ebay做活动价格也可以的，比如135刀
的林丹版二姐夫。 |

more energy than TT. Actually, my badminton skills are better than my TT
skills. It is absolutely not a "伪娘"们的运动; but a young people's sport -
you have to have much more energy to play badminton than to play TT. We
usually see these professional players lose their energy completely in a
three-game badminton tournament - some even give one game up; but we rarely
see professional players completely lose their energy in TT |

badminton is not env friendly, in order to have a good evening
in badminton, you need to consume a dozen of birdies, too much

the best two chinese players left.
They are very similar sports and even similar to table tennis.
If you have enough warm-up work, you will never get hurt from badminton,
tennis, table tennis or what-so-ever. Most of my friends they don't pay too
much attention to warm-up exercise. At the beginning when the body temperature
is still low, they play too hard and easily get hurt.

他这样的style只会对tennis的观赏性有负面影响.其实nadal的体力和奔跑对我来说一

简单说说我的tennis历程吧.在国内时,我只知道tennis是一种十分expensive的sport,
其它的就一点概念也没有了,甚至不知道如何记分.我只玩soccer and badminton.从小
学到大学都是校队系队的.我在soccer同伴中算不上是体力好的.但也可以勉强满场飞,
可知道soccer的body contact十分intensive,要不时飞铲,也要带球中跳起防铲,摸趴滚
打不可少.badminton的来回跑和瞬间反应更是累人.
到了USA,发现soccer and badminton变成了expensive sports,而tennis court随处可
见,才开始接触tennis.我是无师自通的.一开始就没学什么form.只知道球过来了,就一
定要追要打回去,完全是用soccer and badminton的instinct.结果这样有一点坏处我现
在想改也 |

good tennis player usually can smash pretty hard in badminton. Their side
swings are usually a big problem though.
The basic move of gaining power from your body, shoulder, arm and hand is
very similar in baseball (pitching), badminton, and tennis serve. But
execution is very different.
I play a lot of badminton, but not very good in tennis serves. It seems that

for badminton, even for pro badminton player, it is a serious hobby at most.
That is why badminton player in England are not as good as tennis player.

US and much of the world. People are mostly not serious about badminton or
table tennis, they are often played at beach, after dinner, at parties, or

play badminton 4 times a week. After having the kid, I still go to the gym
twice a week, but only during lunch at my company gym and have cut down
badminton to only once a week. Another reason for moving to the new house is
that it is much closer to a professional badminton court. I plan to play at
least twice a week. |

racquetball or volleyball shoes) and eye protection.
Where you can play: There are a few badminton clubs around town, including
the Shaker Badminton Club and one at Case Western Reserve. Public drop-in
badminton ($3 fee required) is played every Monday, Tuesday and Wedn esday
night from 8 to 10 at Lander Elementary School in Mayfield Heights.
A beginner should expect to spend: A minimum of $30 for a racquet.

There is a OKC badminton club and they regularly practice on Wed evening 7-
9pm and Sat morning 9-11am. The membership fee is $35 for a month if you
play twice a week, otherwise it's $25 or $8 per visit. They are located at
macklanburg recreation center. They have many good players there.
Then there are university based. OU badminton club regularly practices at
their Norman fitness center on Thursday evening and Sat morning. If you are
