最靠谱的是去参观别人家房子，找类似lot和房子大小的。
前院距离马路太近，隐私和吵闹是问题，这个是一般人关注重点。
至于后院，看你干啥用途了，上个游泳池或者类似东西，自然就显得空间没有了。

you want to have decent back yard. Look at area with large size lot to buy

我是个新手，今年（2009）6月才从中国回到加拿大。这次一心想当个农民，买了房子以后，就一直寻思种点什么。8月中才搬进自己的家，看着前房主留下的一片片前后院的荒草地，心里又恨有急，恨的是这个房主太懒，什么都没有种我得从零开始，急的是怕过了季节今年可能啥也种不下了。
从来没当过农民，于是先跑到图书馆，把关于garden, kitchen garden, organic garden的书全都借来通读一遍，发现种地的学问还真多，尤其是准备工作很多，其中很重要的一项就是肥料。
我是业余农民，肯定不舍得花比蔬菜还多的钱去买大批的肥料和土，于是决定试验一下从书上学来的backyard composter方法，自己制造。
9月，从kijiji上买了一个composter, 10块钱，新的，卖主说是她爸爸送给她的，她自己不愿意用就卖了。后来才发现这东西在canadian tire 卖59。99。

1) practice foam golf ball, wrapped with cloth to reduced bounce further
2) a piece of carpet mat (folded for more cushion and padded with paper

这个，其实我心里也挺打鼓的。
豆豆回中国乐，我最近一个人也闲着。
朋友工作的地方说老板养了20来只小狗狗。我就一直想去看看来着。说给我去做义工也
行啊。正好，这两天说要请人照顾。我就屁颠屁颠得去interview 啦。
到的时候，老板还没回来。朋友就带我参观了一下。
都是像博美，西施，红贵宾的小小狗。还有两只pug.
都还挺活泼，干净的。（明天去照相来给大家看。）
环境呢，是一个比较remote一点的地方，有3，4个houses. 狗狗养在其中一个house里
，还有院子可以自由活动。屋子里有空调和暖气。这个环境算不算backyard breeder
neh? 请懂得狗爸狗妈赐教。
他们当然是想做breeder的。狗狗听说都是有证书的。不过前段时间家里发生了一些事
情，这个business就搁下来了。而且他们还有别的生意和自己的慈善组织，赚来的一大
部分钱都去想办法帮助别人乐。这个，我看了他们的business license， 的确是non-
profit. 但至于实际怎么操作，还有待观察。

就为了看只GSD, 挖坑赚分. 没记得"打回来"
法，breeder都是差不多的，都和backyard breeder没区别，你的狗又都是从breeder那
里买来的，那我是不是可以这么理解，你以前都是从byb买狗，以后也会继续这么做？
只要人家没骗人, 都是正当渠道. breeder都是卖狗赚钱. 我买狗那家不大, 归到那
边都可以. 老夫妇两人, 养了几只狗. 以前育的狗一只比一只漂亮, 推荐给几个朋
友, 仅DC地区就有5只来自他家(住Oregon). 买完现在这两只后又有朋友问起他家的狗,
我不再推荐, 因为质量下来了.

工作犬，作用还是很大的，有些任务人没有办法完成，只能靠狗。而特定品种的狗在完
成特定任务的时候效率就是比别的狗要高要快，所以就被持续培养
有的人别的工作不会干，只会养个狗养个猫，这种breeder出发点就单纯为了赚钱
但还是有一部分breeder是为了延续培育犬种的初衷。钱、交易、这些东西不可避免被
卷进来。如果要说错了，那就是人的这种需求就错了？也可以这么说，因为所谓“培养
品种狗”，必然就会有inbreed。不inbreed，那些固定的特性就会消失。人在方便自己
的同时，必然也要为这种后果负责。或者延续这种传统错了？但是有些品种的狗，比如
德牧、圣伯纳、雪橇犬。。。目前仍然还没下岗。所以至少目前“培育纯种狗”这个问
题是没有办法杜绝的。作为养宠物狗的人来说，能做到养狗前好好研究一下，挑一只健
康的狗，不要养到一半把人put down或者扔了，就算负责了
backyard breeder的问题是自己资金有限，在挑种犬、培养健康的狗方面必然没办法保

backyard的门，准备给他喝，哪知他立马飞奔进backyard, 躺下。过了几个小时，他还
是不愿离开，甚至坚决不靠近backyard的门。这期间，他好像很饿，吃了院子里一只已
经风干了一两个月的死老鼠 （被我的猫咪杀死的），于是我给了他一块鸡肉，又去买
了一些狗粮，他吃的狼吞虎咽。我发现他很瘦，站着喝水时，两前腿直打颤，身上已好
几处指甲般大小的地方没有毛发。
在快五点时，我发现她自己离开了，于是我想他是休息够了，该回家了。哪知半个小时
内他又回来了，这一次我没打开backyard的门。于是他就在我家门前，driveway上转悠
，最后躺在了前院的草坪上。几个邻居看到了，说可能是某一家的狗，不过发现他家没
人，于是让我还是把狗keep in my backyard，我刚一打开后院的门，他又飞奔进我家
的后院。这一次他是离后院的门远远的，好像很害怕到院子外面。
晚上十点多，那家人回来了，狗狗见到主人，好像没什么欣喜。

做东朝西（backyard朝东）小区位置有点反攻，门口路有点弯。

楼上3间东房一间西房，离公司距离较近 30min+

小资 Mall 才是根本解决办法。买回家吃、或者去大排挡级餐馆；去低档
百货店、或者公园 playground。
过了这个年龄段，娃自然会好，没必要在这个年龄段里，让娃留下一些不好
的印象。。。
另外，以彼之矛、攻彼之盾，难道不是兵家常识？既然娃有这么强的好奇心，
用其好奇心，来 distract 其 will power，难道不是一箭双雕、一石
二鸟？
利用好奇心这套路，用在俺小娃上屡试不爽，最简单的，就是突然说
“Hey! There is a kitty cat in the backyard!”，娃的反应多半
是 “Where? Where? Let me see...”。。。
不过这招前几天惨遭小娃反制，俺又一次如法炮制后，小娃坐在床上，
头也不回，一本正经地对俺说：“There is NO kitty cat in the
backyard. There is NO ANIMAL in the backyard. There
is ONLY birdy in the backyard”。。。laff。。。

问题有几个
1.这个房子算路冲吗？driveway对这一条小路
2.房子比路面高，但是backyard是slope away from house, house坐落在一个顶上，比
前后都高。backyard的坡度也不大。另外，backyard除了前后斜，也左右斜，backyard
的东南面比西北面略低。 请大师分析一下子。
3.这个房子东北朝向，这个朝向是不是不太好？
房子的采光还算比较好。
