一般是，人家有意向要你了，才会background check，因为这种check都是交第三方去
做，是要花钱的。对于一个不合格的candidate，公司没有必要花钱去check。
我的顺序是，面试，三天后，Background Check（知道offer要来了），几天后，接到
HR电话，问immigration status，顺便negotiation offer（negotiate的前提是你有其
他offer在手），几天后，正式offer。

请教各位前辈，这个background check一般要多长时间啊？我是上周2面试的，当天
manager 就在email里给了offer。今天nursing manager告诉我HR在联系我的
references.我感觉是我的references是不是有问题了，怎么是manager告诉我呢：（
我没有这儿的工作经验，3年的工作经验都是国内的，所以写了一个国内单位的
reference,不知道他们联系国内是否能收到？？在这儿，我在一个community college
上过一些课，有个老师答应给做reference，还有我在一个medical center做过
volunteer，时间不长，但是那儿的director也同意做reference.

company, they know chinese employer only hold employee files for 3 years
after you leave the company(You can check Kroll international background
check). Hence I do not think they would check that. Moreover, when a
background check company can not verify something, he would not give

1. Either would be fine -- background check is just to verify if you have
committed any offenses, your credit history, your credentials, etc. As long
as you didn't lie about anything that you put on paper, you are basically
safe.
2. It should be fine -- they probably won't go that far to check your

主要查的信息就是，工作历史，犯罪记录，驾驶记录，信用记录，可能也会要求

四月开始找工作，市场上和刚解雇的工作想匹配的机会不多，降低要求，别人也不要，

了一下，感觉不是很好，说的太快了，对方让我重复了几次，后来就没消息了，我也没
太在意，大概又过了十天，又来电话安排on-site interview，星期二第一轮，见了二
个人，感觉不错，星期三，打来电话，安排星期四第二轮面试，见到了President， 没
太多技术性问题，就是明确了要工作的方向，同时得知还有其他二个candidates， 接
着要reference和进行background check，这个公司要求比较严，要求reference必须全
是我的supervisor， 好在我的老板们很支持我，尤其是我现任老板也被裁了，美国人
还是很不错的。background check 进行了大约一周，中间打过电话，被告知要耐心等
待，终于刚才president亲自打来电话，告知给我of |
