little silver apple showed up on the screen after about 5+ seconds of
holding both buttons down. Then my custom backgound showed up with the
slider and everything appears normal.....wierd though.

1) triangle,
this type of researchers own solid backgound and very acute
sense of creativity. Newton, Einstein, Gauss are among this category.
For them, Reading --> Understanding --> creating something new.
2) diamand,
weak background but very acute creativity. Creating things without
much reading.
3) trapezia, solid background, but not very smart,

I'm not a photoshop expert, could anybody tell which how to change the
background of a picture transparent in programs like photoshop, please specify
to menu-->submenu, because I am NOT a photoshop expert.

2.左边有３个tab: Upload/List/Backgound
Upload上传基因名；
Background选择背景基因，有Agilent microarray的可选；
3.第一个问题，上传gene list就是通过Upload的4 step完成，其中step 2是选择基因
名对应的命名ID，如AGILENT_ID或AGILENT_OLIGO_ID；
4.每三个问题，在upload的step 3 List type中选择 background? |

I think one important thing to successfully start up in acdemia, other than
the continous interest in research and the solid backgound knowledge, is to be
a good, mature person: charming, well prepared, straight-talking, self
confident, sincere, etc. A lot of smart people become superior to other smart
people because of these.
At least some of the points discussed in this articles are not something you
can plan or you can control. So I don't fully agree wiht the auth |

If you are talking about education or pharm industry, I agree.
If you are talking about bank industry, I doubt it. Actually lots of the
department manager in commercial bank like credit manager,operation manager,
analytic manager are statistical backgound in commercial bank even they are
master level statistician in the beginning. In bank, ms level statistician
will finally have same pay like PHD level in 5-10 years because people need

因为数学background不强，所以是不是biostats会比较偏向业界工作准备，读起来稍微
压力小些，而且我已经有bio的backgound了。
读biostats是否能在读的时候选修和读一些stats相关的课，最后也能找一些除了
biotech
之外的工作呢？

doctors here have no research or science major backgound at all. I was
majored in music before entering medical school. I don't think these doctors
have a weaker understanding of the diseases at all!
