是一门艺术。所以在美国媒体上，很少看到大学政治科学教授发言，通常是那些有选举
背景的政论人在那里大发议论。但那些政论老手也常常错误预测，是因为政治的突发性
、戏剧性，尤其是在多位政客参战的党内预选，结果总也难料。
年初，马萨诸塞州前州长威拉德·米特·罗姆尼（Willard Mitt Romney）是初选领头
人。他四年前就是共和党总统候选人之一，当时与老参议员麦凯恩正好有一拼，但最终
姜还是老的辣，老麦靠着韧劲夺得了共和党候选人资格。当然，共和党人选出年迈的麦
凯恩去与年轻气盛的奥巴马较量，就已是出师未捷身先死了。如果罗姆尼与奥巴马一决
高低，就难说谁拿到进白宫的门钥匙了。
