swimmer(s). If the swimmer pees, the device will trigger the alarm system (
very pressing laud sound). The swimmer will be shocked and awed, and be
scared to stop peeing.
This device doesn't work on ladies though. |

invisible as central AC, but I have an older house, install duct would lower
my ceiling so that's not ideal either. Like I mentioned before, duct work
design is also very important, I could end up with somethin completely
aweful if I pick a wrong contractor. For split units, such risk is a lot
less. Honestly, the main thing is cost saving and efficiency. With central

同，familycare是让娃吃好睡好玩好身体好。preschool是让娃开始受教育的同时吃好
睡好玩好身体好。如果发现自家娃开始对这个世界感兴趣了，有学习的动力了，不甘于
局限于自己的小天地了，就可以去上学了。。一般特别好的preschool都有waiting
list所以要提早。我找过的preschool里，最长的waiting list是２年。一般最好是春
夏季开始送学校，４－８月。实在不行夏秋也凑合。比如我家是８月底。冬天就不送了
。容易生病，不利于娃的生长发育。如果要求比较完美主义的家长要提前做好准备。不
过我家娃最后去的是一个没有waiting list的学校，而且我觉得比那２个要等很久的学
校好。

些摘录，觉得这本书很不怎么样。
假用“神”的名义来写作，估计是很多人的第一反应吧。我也很反感这一点，具体原因
大家恐怕都明白，就不说了。而本章结尾，“神”居然亲自为Waldorf插播广告，实在
令人笑到打跌。我亲爱的老天父啊，那么多的教育流派，各自有优缺点和特殊性，又各
自针对不同的学生群，可是为何您偏偏钟爱Waldorf?
至于这章的内容，很不幸，尽管有着无数空洞的big claims (claim=argument WITHOUT
evidence）, 但这些claims没有一点是超出目前教育界的人文共识，能让人gasp in
awe。大部分的东西，翻翻各类２０多年前的教育杂志，就能找到了。其中很多claims
，还是非常controversial的，因而只能糊弄一下那些对教育没有做过深入思考的外行。
最可笑的不是这些。因为这些claims尽管空洞陈旧，但是好歹还是能引人思索的。可笑

发帖数: 6923 | 39 宝宝马上就2岁了，我想给她选一个play based的人种比较diverse的daycare。去之前
就把stratford和empire还有一些montessori淘汰掉了。虽然不打算去montessori还是
看了几个，acedemic是很牛，值得我们学习，但是playground简直是aweful，实在和我
的教育理念差得太远了。
去看了附近一些daycare比较好的包括fremont Christian preschool， little lamb和
kidango ohlone。但是还是觉得不太满意，fremont Christian 远了点，老师素质感觉
比较高，花很多精力和孩子说话，吃的水果也是新鲜水果，2%milk。老师学生比例7比1
，墙上孩子的craft的作品虽然幼稚，都是有形状和图案的。playground也还说得过去
，主滑梯比较晒，但旁边有阴凉的地方。给孩子用小瓶矿泉水喝水，感觉比那种让孩子
自己去水龙头喝要好些。缺点是离家远，和我上班的路是反的。但是到6点半。
little lamb要到四月份才有位置，老师很安静，一个是亚裔老师，一个白人很年轻。

也怪我太贪，买了8盒奶粉，及一堆杂物。 8张奶票，ecb两张，及25off
小2没见过一下这么多奶票，说its aweful。一堆奶票输完，系统不让交钱了。
只好分几单重新扫，小2连连发笑，估计是在嘲笑我巴， ，无良小二给我最便宜的一单
用了25%off。 我当时晕菜 没有提醒他扫ecb。就回家了。
