感觉就是一个path, 只有一个人discover 了， 但是很多人都再教给别人这个path.
教人跟不教人的， 在南传里也有区别， 比如ajahn sao 是不教人的(教的非常少, 主
要靠观察他而学），
但是ajahn mun, ajahn chah,都是以教为毕生的。

大学往事(一)

最近的电子杂志时有朋友谈及大学趣事，钩起往事，不胜感慨。
禁不住也写几笔，和大家分享。
上大学已经是14年前的事。那时我在华南理工大学就读，那可是
理工学校，男女比例7：1。女生如同国宝熊猫般珍贵，要想找个女朋
友,需在金钱，精力，甚至拳头上用足工夫。可是十几年前大家都是
穷光蛋，有钱的凤毛麟角，大家只能在计谋和拳头上下工夫。呵呵，
可有同感？
其实像我们建筑系的哥们向来吃香，甚得先机，而且班里美女如
云，1987年的全运会就去了3位举牌的女生！可是。。。我们上头还
有一般研究生。。。作学究状，作大哥状，作有钱状，将我等之女同
学尽数俘虏。可怜我们只能干瞪眼，另寻出路。但是学校资源有限，
比专业我们有优势，仰慕者甚众；比拳头，还可以，但因身价不凡，
不愿为。那就比心计吧，建筑系的可都是精英！不是吃素的！

前给我了结果，但因为我没有及时通知BBB，BBB还是跟US Airways 打了交道，获得了
US Airways 给我的处理结果，并把结果复印了一份，用信件给我寄来，整个过程将近1
个月时间。
1、事因：
今年九月初去加州开会，路上在某城市转机，一路上来回被America West Airline （

今天有同事劝我乘还没生小孩，不如辞职去读个会计。以后尽管起薪会比现在收入少不
少，但长远来讲发展前途更大。
四十岁之后就会知道会计比做实验要轻松得多，还越老越吃香。同事的几个朋友F2过来
后都学了会计，现在在政府部
门里快活得很，工资一年一年涨起来，现在也不低。而我的好几个同事四十几后都在试
验室里干得力不从心，而且现在
药厂也是前途叵测。
这还是我第一次认真考虑会计这一行业，我有以下几点疑虑，希望版上的前辈能给我些
意见。
1）我前年考过GMAT730，但AWA只有4；还需要别的考试或是再考一次吗？我可以报什么
样的学校？老公在DC工
作，所以如果不是很好的学校，我不想离开东部。
2）我没有上过任何与会计相关的课。但我今年考CFA二级，如果过了的话，以后是不是
可以免修一些课？
3）我和老公打算五六年后离开美国，有没有人知道美国会计在伦敦或是香港的就业机
会怎样（先不考虑身份问题）？
如果大家觉得我可以有别的职业规划，也请倡言。

发帖数: 18 | 21 美国这边econ在读phd，现在2年级，打算申请08fall的商学院phd。GMAT 730(96%),
AWA 6.0。Graduate的GPA目前是4.0/4.0，但是学的都是纯econ的东西，比如Micro,
Macro and Econometrics。也和很多学校的professor询问我的情况。我本人呢倾向于
accouting的phd，但是有很多学校的professor都说虽然我的gmat成绩还可以，但是没
有过accounting的背景。另外就是有些professor建议我申请Finance，我自己也看了看
，finance搞的东西确实比accounting搞的东西贴近一点econ。。
所以想问一下大家对于Finance, Accounting我应该都分别定位到什么档次的学校？另
外，商学院的哪些phd是跟统计，econometrics或者Micro/Macro联系多一点的。因为在
这里学了一年的econometrics和Micro/Macro，所以感觉在这方便还有点优势，而且成
绩也不错。申请transfer的话可能性还大一点。

还是在相关领域内的话，请问MBA出来应该是 product manager或者consultant，可以
起薪多少？
别人又建议我MBA完全转方向，往finance方面，我是一点不懂，但是说工资高，可是我
怕很难同已经有finance背景的人竞争。
请大家帮我看看，值不值得读MBA以及MBA后的职业发展前途。。

references or strategies that will benefit you. You will need to follow the
guidelines. After that, everything should flow nicely.
I followed the guideline two weeks before the test, and got 6 in the test.
I would get 2 if I did not follow the guidelines though.
