it" here is a direct quote from the CA Department of Consumer Affairs
website. Note: Selling "as is" is against the law in regards to smog, and it
is the SELLERS responsibility to do the smog check. Buyers be aware of the
law. DO NOT buy a car without a smog certificate. There is probably a reason
and it goes against CA law. FYI.

发帖数: 50 | 15 事情是这样的，朋友买了一辆二手车，4300刀，以前没有撞车记录。有一次一时兴致，
朋友说教我学车，我刚好有permit，也觉得开车很容易，于是就坐上了司机的位置。结
果，刚上车就发现车不听使唤，朋友让我踩刹车，我又正好踩上了油门，最后，前后不
到30秒吧，车给撞倒了一个栏杆上，车油都流出来了。。。。从朋友买车到撞车大概也
就一个星期吧，他的保险不保自己。我肯定没有保险。
接下来就是联系autorepair，来了几家公司，股价最低都是2000多（等正式修肯定会更
高，且不含人工费，人工费一般75一小时），然后我们找了一家便宜的，对方说可以把
坏的地方修好（坏了很多地方，幸好引擎没有坏），不换新的，这样会便宜些，同时人
工费也降到45一小时了。最后所有费用算下来1500，bumper和空调没有修，如果这部分
修好又要接近1000了吧。
再后来，又坐朋友的车，这次我刚走出车门，车门自己就关上了，声音很响，再接着车
窗就关不上了。可能玻璃碎了？或者radiator坏了？找了一家公司报价，又是300多。
因为朋友的车买时没有撞车记录，加上修的时候也不是全换新的部件，所以如果什么地

。很多工具，买一个，几年用一次，没什么意思。更有甚者，还要霸占real estate. |

“Crack across the backing are acceptable. Cracks parallel to the backig are
NOT." 像是说裂纹垂直于皮带方向可接受，平行于皮带方向不行。
