quite fundamental flaw. The camera locks-up all of its button-driven
operations while it's writing files to the memory card, and if you're
shooting RAW this can take up to 7 seconds, even with a reasonably fast SD
card. You can still autofocus or change the shutter speed, aperture, and
exposure compensation, but during this time you can't change the ISO, switch

Being sick and tired of lugging around my Canon DSLR when on vacation trips,
the X100 is a godsend. I am absolutely in love with this camera and I'm

canon t2i and nikon d3100. D3100 is cheaper than t2i, but some test results
show that its image quality is a little bit better than t2i? T2i is better
at video and relative small in size, but it does not have video autofocusing.
Though I guess either should be good enough for a newbie, I'd still like to

本来想分镜头效果应该比一镜走天下（18-200）好，所以定的两个镜头，
买来后，使用的频率也挺低，因为我们主要是用在游玩的时候用。
最近出去玩，发现频繁的换镜头也是个很麻烦的事情。对入门级来说估计18-200更方便。
在考虑要不要trade 或者ebay上出掉这两个镜头呢，
大牛们请给点意见。18-200的实际效果怎么样?

近日好不容易看完西平英生全书，发现全书测试的250支AF（AutoFocus）鏡头中，
“影像解析度”和“实拍效果”两项均取得满分(5颗星)的居然只有寥寥9款。
西平英生，测试了250支镜头，只有9款得了满分，其中8支定焦1支变焦，唯一的变焦头
是美能达AF70-200/2.8G(D)SSM。9款镜头分布如下：
1、美能达3款，其中1支变焦，1支微距，1支人像定焦，焦段在85mm，100mm，70-200mm；
2、佳能3款，其中2支是微距，为100,180,400mm焦段；
3、尼柯马2款，焦段在200mm，300mm
4、宾得1款，焦段在300mm |

That's MFT as in Micro Four Thirds, and the adapter is for Canon EF lenses.

very useful when taking landscape photos. So your photos will not tilt.
Infrared autofocus aid is a focus lamp that is activated in the dark to
assist focusing. I think it basically use the far red or infrared light. I
don't know exactly how it works without a prism, but it works really well.
The photos I posted above were taken under very low light. In fact, it can
work under absolute dark condition. |

角（18mm），对准远方的山，自动聚焦几乎不工作，所以快门按不下去。 如果ZOOM IN
（50mm左右）， 则聚焦不是问题。 非常郁闷。回家后，站在阳台上照远处的树或房
子，（70米）左右，18mm,自动聚焦不是问题。 全是手持。
不知道是我这款d7000的问题，还是因为大峡谷的山壁光秃秃，所以相机难以聚焦。
有人有这种情况吗?

probably has to do with the AF mode you were on. Was it AF-S, AF-C, AF-C 3D,
or something else? |

发帖数: 118 | 34 It could be the lack of contrast. With limiated tonal viaration of those GC
rocks, it is possible that the camera gets less color information in a
single focus point when zoomed out, and vice versa. A couple of things you
could try though:
1. Set the focus point to the upper edge of the mountain so that the small
piece of sky in the focus point can provide ample contrast for focusing.
2. Switch to AF-S. I usually avoid using AF-A because the mode allows the

时lens 是不是在18mm了，不过就记得当时是阴天外面下雨。下次注意细节看看是不是
像楼上说的是contrast 不够。
反正还在warranty, 有问题也不怕。 |

focus on the edge of the mountain, sometimes it help, sometimes it doesn't.
regarding af-a or af-s, I should know that, I always tried af-s in the past.
but for some reason I leave it on af-a. my understanding of af-a is a more
smart choice, in which the camera know when should keep it as af-s or not.
anyway, I end up use manual a lot, and estimate the distance, it's painful.
