position because of my last name. Should I request them put a remark on the
paper indicating the author names are ordered alphabetically? since for now
they didn't give any remard for the author names (except for the author
schools Emails, etc).
I would appreciate your suggestion greatly.

辛苦苦把项目完成了，写了paper，老板因为跟前人关系好，硬要加成co-first author
。一般first author琢磨着反正自己的名字排在第一位，也就懒得争辩从了。
照你这么说，排在第二的做的还多的，他凭什么不去争第一啊？ |

回答问题的人.
通常情况是老板的思路,老板指导下做的工作,老板申请的funding support的,所以应该
是老板的corresponding author,言下之意,比如:数据错了,文章有大错,责任也在老板.
你的情况,要求是corresponding author 挺正常的.特别是如果你老板完全不懂,比如,
万一有人发信问他问题,他完全不知道怎么回答,必须问你.(in another word, he/she
cannot defense himself/herself.)当然你老板确实有权利拒绝,因为他的funding
support的.不过,你其实也是有所得的,你没老板那么多的烦心事,可以好好出成果,就是
一种积累了.
旧时所谓士大夫阶层,也称门客.你的权利就是无牵挂,想走就走.没funding
responsibility. |

时候行不通。我的同学，博士的文章就是通讯作者。那是他老板的风格。当然，做
coresponding author一个好处就是收到杂志编辑邀请做审稿人。对申请绿卡有帮助。
但是，这个也可以通过老板的推荐得到。楼主也不必为了coresponding author的事情
纠结。要想到，老板的支持和自己在做这个项目的过程中所得的增益。楼主也不必为了

工作，但是老板reference可能对找工作贡献更大。除非你这个publication对找工作贡
献很大，你又有办法逼着老板把你加回author（这个可能性很小吧，不然他也不会
remove you from the author list to begin with）
在医院里工作，非PI级别的statistician是否能加入author，本来就是看老板怎样，这

在driver list。车祸发生在local急转弯路上，方向盘没有打过来所以撞了树，交警判
超速（35的路开40多）还没plea guilty。车基本是报废了，车上（minivan）乘客不同
程度伤，最严重的做了小手术，但都没有生命危险。现在缓过神了，发现所有的保险基
本都无效了，开始考虑对策
1. 买了damage waiver，但因为driver不是authorized，应该是void了
2. 这种情况下信用卡的保险会保吗？如果不保基本就是要我赔钱了，大家对赔偿数字
有概念吗？感觉车是报废了
3. 医院给每个人都发了一个no fault insurance的文件（NY），好像意思是这种情况
不会走个人medical insurance，而是走no fault insurance，这是什么情况？租车公
司会保吗？我看网上说好像就算driver不是authorize，租车公司也要保medical bill的
4.我朋友应该plea no guilty然后找律师吗？这个对保险会有影响吗？
