首先感谢janeclimber大神的多方帮助， 指点了很多有用的准备信息及装备建议。
头一次得知可以从西侧横穿Sierra登顶Mt Whitney是去年春天和petertom一起hiking的
时候听其约莫提起， 心甚向往，只是当时对backpacking所知为零， 只能让这根草慢
慢生长。 而John Muir Trail 早就在我计划top list之中， 今年开春的时候开始为夏
季长途旅行做计划， 便多封email往返， 力诱身在国内的山谷风返美一同行走 ， 一
拍即合。 初步计划是从优胜美地开始走第一段四分之一。
五月份时在国王峡谷与红巨杉国家公园玩耍的时候， 注意到了两条路线，一条是从
Crescent Meadow 出发的 High Sierra Trail， 一条是从180 roads end出发的

thus no LRBHO.
AUG was designed in the 70's, very ahead of its time back then, but small
arms design has moved forward a lot since then. |

另外AUG在70年代设计并不应该是大问题，比AK/AR出道都晚，也一直在小改。
喜欢新点的还可以等一等Tavor TC21，也就是TAR21的半自动民用版，预计售价也在
2000以内吧。 |

，枪身短，精干，没觉板机重，也没觉整体枪重，只是取出枪管时觉得枪管挺重的，比
AR故障少，比AK精度高，打了约1200多发，没有卡过一次，也没拆开清洗过（其实
yourtube上也还没A3的示范，大约和旧款相同吧，惭愧，至今没试过），缺点是弹匣不
通用且非常贵，（AR弹匣没戏），我屯了些，感觉真是贵。
另外，对scout价格来说，其精度并不太好，我曾研究过一段时间，觉得是鸡肋。个人
感觉，不代表广大枪友，拍砖要轻。 |

spend a week at Circus of Towers, and the other week in Teton/Yellowstone

driving all the way from Detroit
Adding Wind River, Teton and Devil's tower, perhaps we'll cover four classic
climbs out of the 50 Classic Climbs in North America in one trip. Excited! |

to the race two years in a row and plan to drive up this year again. Looking
for fellow fans to meet up at the track and have some fun time.
If you are a racing fan but haven't been to a motorcycle racing, you owe
yourself a big favor. There is nothing giving you a adrenaline rush as much
as motorcycle racing. F1, in comparison, is a boring rich corporate game.
Too much money, too little passing and rubbing.

今年是第二次在Santa Cruz 参加 tri的比赛了
去年参加的是Sprint, 今年开始international距离的征程
Santa Cruz 的international 跟 sprint 路线是一样的，唯一的不同就是
international 在各项上要多绕几圈而已, 游泳从一圈变到两圈， 自行车从2圈变成4
圈，跑步还是一圈但是 距离double了
比赛日 的早上阴沉沉的, 所有的一切都跟去年一样， 一样的天气一样的换项区，还是
和一样的terry参加同一个比赛，不禁让人感觉是 yesteryear once more. 轻车熟路的
领了号码牌泳帽， 在换项区把装备都安放好, 然后就开始穿wetsuit, 比赛前看了版上
其他人得总结， 学会了用塑料袋套着手脚穿wetsuit. 出发前在关键部位抹了凡士林，
