我可能有点井底之蛙，了解的信息不够。
自从去年年底开始看job posting以来，大概看到有以下几种工作：
1）Sr.Scientist/Principle Scientist
这个我肯定申不了
2) Scientist/Assoc Scientist (不同公司可能title不一样)
这类的要求是 PhD + Postdoc经历 (好些都要求significant postdoc经历)
所以这类title的工作，我都没有申
3）Scientist Assoc (不同公司可能title也不一样)
这类的要求是 BS/MS + Significant experience
这类我也没申，我猜想这可能是technician类的工作，我可能overqualified
4）Postdoc
看来看去，只有这个适合我。而我看到的Postdoc职位都是大公司的，这个是我定
位大公司的原因之一，之二就是想他们H1B的名额可能会比较多

第二，如果你足够牛叉，phd也可以直接和MBA一样到IBD做assoc.
大IB的广告上也写着phd可以申请IBD的assoc的 |

前几天有人贴了个网站可以查询公立大学faculty的工资，俺上去关注了一下几个牛人
的工资。不看不知道，一看吓一跳，比我想象的差太多了。一个UIUC的Assoc Prof，08
年工资居然只有90k出头。还有个UCLA的华人教授，年薪160k多点，这个在LA应该不算
高吧。这两人都是本人研究领域内的顶级牛人啊，去工业界的话搞个200k一年不成问题
。作为对比，再来晒晒澳洲国立大学的工资水平

集大成者。目前耶鲁大学神经生物学教授。
他是早期致力于用计算模型来模拟神经元活动的科学家之一，曾和will rall合作奠定
了神经电缆理论。他早期对olfactory bulb的实验和理论研究是神经科学领域最早的研
究大脑系统回路的典范。也是最早对嗅觉信号的空间编码模式给出实验和理论研究的先
驱。
他是1993年构划‘人类脑计划’的主要人员，并几乎在同时推动了神经信息学的建立。

现在日本中国欧洲美国的很多研究小组发现很多素食含有维生素b12, 由于欧洲人以前
没有食用这些食（药）品，所以以前西方科学家得出了人需要吃肉补充B12的这样一个
巨大的错误结论。今天这一错误的结论仍然misleads着全世界很多的人。其实吃素营养
足够 更健康。含有B12的素食至少包括：
1） 紫菜 海带等海藻类 (spirulina)
2） 各种各样的蘑菇 (mushroom), 这是日本科学家2012年作出的重要发现。见参考
文献6.
3） 腐乳之类（tempeh）
4） 日本餐馆里都有的miso汤
5） 其它发酵的食品 如腊八豆
6） 紫花苜蓿（Alfalfa）含有各种大量的B1, B6, B12等。紫花苜蓿是亚洲人的食
物。阿拉伯人称之为食物之父。
7） 各种豆芽菜类 （sprout）
8） 日本的黑茶叶， 类似茶叶中国也有。
9） 传闻南美印第安人某些植物食品和中国的菠菜和馒头都含有维生素B12，红萝卜
放在室温下被表面的细菌分解后产生B12，这些有待进一步研究证实。

能不能科普一下中法合约怎么签的？刚刚从网上查了一下，说是法国的提议没有被中国
接受：
1887年（清光绪十三年），清朝与法国签订边界条约，划分中国与法属印度支那边界。
以商务利益换得钦州的江坪、黄竹两处越南飞地。对于海上边界的划分，法国提出以北
仑河河口所在的东经108度03分向南延伸，作为海上岛屿及北部湾的划分界线。根据这
一划法，白龙尾岛将归法国所有。但这一分界方法没有被中国接受，在中华民国时期的
中国及外国地图上（Goode's World Atlas, Rand McNally, 1933），白龙尾岛仍在中

assoc. 之类的）。
美国社会最牛的一点是各行各业都有个自律性极高的协会，管理业内成员，有没有？这
些协会不是全美国大一统的，而是各地方小区域独立运作的。这样的好处就是不会发生
“从根子烂起来” 的现象，烂了德州的烂不了加州的。这些协会都有很大的权力，可
以罚款或吊销执照，而且也都保持高度的自律性，很高的道德约束。
医生，律师，会计师，地产经纪，贷款经济，保险经纪等等，都有这样的协会在管理，
我觉得这是美国成功的一大经验。 |
