其实是做流体的，但今年导师弄了个funding,来自 US. Army research office （ARO
）。平时大部分时候都是NSF的funding。
我在网上看到有人反签，然后因为专业涉及军方，然后被拒的。我想知道下， 是不是
ARO的grant就会对签证有影响？还是说这个其实在工程系很常见，我没必要大惊小怪。

无数啊，男的女的。特别很多自以为自己英语很好的女的，自豪的说自己在一家和"阿
米"有关的公司工作。
army这个单词的音标是['ɑːrmi]，看清楚了吧。a:r不是发成“阿”，mi也不是"
米"。
汉语里面没有类似的发音，老中说英语总是照搬汉语的发音。
90%以上的大陆来的老中无法真正辨别i:和i的区别。
很烦啊，本来想写99%，后来想到肯定有人跳出来说我可以，你可以你就是那10%，行了
吧？
我写发音问题也就是让老中注意一下，提升一下自己的形象。正确的发音会给你一个好
的印象。 |

army地面装备只展出了现役很少的一部分, 主战装备更少, 只完整
展出了带式舟桥系统(Ribbon Bridge Sys), 这个IRAQ 肯定用不上.
但美军的信息化水平确实很高, 到处是on star system.
101st D参展的HMMWV(FBCB II)甚至给我演示了该师巴哥达参战
单位的位置, 但我要求显示当前位置,那个Sst 却掉了链子, 半天只显
示该车的航向 (车头方向). 让我觉的101st D 不知到用那天的Baghad的
data互弄美国观众.

am not worried NCLEX so much because I am working hard on the kaplan thing.
It's the job thing concerns me. I had couple interviews. As soon as the
interviewer heard me saying opt for only one year, that's the end of it. I
am thinking about to join the Army. Does anyone know if Army hires associate
degree RN who is F1? Thanks. |

军OFFICER]要求有BS DEGREE。特殊情况是你如果ADN毕业后以经进了一个BSN PROGRAM
学习，你的专业比如ICU护士是他们急需的，也可能破例收你。
不然的话，你可以加入美军，但是不是以护士的身份，而是以外国语言才能或是卫生兵
的身份加入美军，这属于士兵，上前线或是面临一些所谓骚扰的几率就大多了。
ARMY NURSE一般来说不在最前线，因为ICU或是OR NURSE一般是在基地的医院工作，否
则，没有ICU/OR的地方你能干什么？ |

trauma nurse，NAVY在找ICU nurse。army可选reserve或active duty，Navy只有
active duty。
找工的时候除非人家问，你不必讲只能工作一年的，先混个工作经验再说嘛。你主动说
出来，人家会找其他借口不要你，等你拿了offer他们知道你只能工作一年再想不要你
，就要吃官司了，这变成了赤裸裸的歧视。 |

好进哪个部门。不喜欢navy，天天呆在一个小盒子里太闷。marine好像很辛苦。
special force身体不够好（太胖了，不想减）。看来就air force跟army了。我有点小
近视，是不是空军就不收了？个人偏向于做engineering有关的东西。飞机还是比坦克
什么的有趣吧。

(a) I read the report yesterday and thought nothing about it. Alothgh I
thought Mr. Chen’words were sharp, I was under the impression that this was
the tome of US-China dialogue on arms sale to Taiwan. Apparently the
meeting is unusual, as BBC, VOA and New York Times all report about it.
