lower and cozier, to make it a breakfast nook.
- The sitting area furniture should be changed. No need to have a sofa there
. You can have a writing desk and chair to make it a private mini office.
The celling on the further end is not flat, which might make one feel
nervous sometimes. Better to put a mirror or some painting there to make it
feel more balanced.

刚刚从纽约搬到bay area. 还在适应当中。对san Francisco 了解还不多，心里还在
debate自己是不是作了一个对的选择，想听听大家的看法
搬离纽约的一个主要原因是觉得居住空间受限，觉得纽约周边的single family houses
都太旧了，1920 年左右建的房子一大把，要是能找到一个1975年建的就要烧高香了。
关键是老房子的格局我不喜欢，洗手间和卧室都不大。看着各个屋子和厅的位置朝向，
总是觉得不够满意。而且commute到纽约的费用也蛮高的，相同的距离比在bay area坐
caltrain到san Francisco + light rail (muni)的monthly pass要贵至少$100。纽约
