简单总结一下，关于从south arapaho到north arapaho：
1、速度不是很快路线不是很熟悉的情况下，south-north-south往返大约要三个小时的
样子。算上这个，TH-TH往返应该需要八个小时或者更多。所以要么天气特别好的时
候去，要么很早去。
2、roach的书上说这一段是class 3。如果更多的选择山脊西侧靠下面一些的路线，绕
过一些稍难的地方，应该是可以全程把难度控制在class 3以内。不过现在绝大多数人都
走更多在山脊上的路线，所以有两三处应该是有class 4的难度。
3、楼上诸位说的那块大石头，大约一人多高（姚明说：有一人多高么？），没有照片
看上去那么陡，同去的某人返回的时候干脆就用屁股蹭着滑下去的。 |

具体行程：
Fourth of July Trailhead to Diamond Lake. 5.3Miles round trip. Class 2.
10,957' max elevation，+1,222? total roundtrip elevation gain。
Saturday, meet at the trailhead at 9:30am and come back at 3 to 4pm.
需要pickup，麻烦你们把地址和电话发给我，会有人和你们联系的。
下山后可以去boulder 吃饭，喝酒和看风景。听美女介绍说Boulder 有家中餐馆牛筋做的比川味轩还要好吃，仰慕中。
不去爬山的，可以5：00左右到boulder和大家会合。不过来之前最好运动一下，不然和一群刚刚爬了山的人吃饭，估计要吃亏。
关于题目的问题，爬Arapaho Peak是长期计划，所以如果周末大家反应良好，再来续集就是了，就像正式爬珠峰之前参观以下绒布寺，好像也合情理。

热浪袭人，如同蒸笼一般。
在市中心盘桓两日，捉摸何处觅食。网上查询，中国城离市中心要15迈多，打的成本太高
。经网上高人指点，坐轻轨到Arapahoe Center 站可到中国城。酒店的前台说轻轨站到中
国城还有一迈多，不建议走路。忍不住馋虫，决定坐轻轨一试。
30分钟后到达Arapahoe Center一站，四处望去，没有中国城的影子。看到不远处有个公
车问询处，前去打探，对着一人说了半天，旁边的一人突然说，问什么和我说吧，方才意
识到刚才我对着讲话的那人好像有听力障碍，ft…..把刚才说的又重复一遍，对方说我不
知道哪里有中餐馆…..又ft…然后旁边有听力障碍的人反而说起话来了，虽然结结巴巴，
大意是明白的，说是要沿着旁边的Greenville一直走就到。沿着Greenville走了5分多钟
，还是没有中餐馆的影子，心下怀疑，又停下来到路边加油站打听，一位墨西哥裔的姐姐
说不知道哪里有中餐馆，她问旁边另外一位墨西哥裔的姐姐，也说不知，ft….还好旁边

。大牛发现不对之处，欢迎指正，并求轻拍。
Denver西部的山里有22个雪场，具体分布见：http://www.coloradoski.com/resorts。
比较有名又容易access的是Vail和Beaver Creek，在Denver以西2个小时车程的地方，
没有Whistler那么高，所以雪道比较短，俺稍稍有些小郁闷。不过胜在够大，每个雪场
都有４＋个山头，雪况好的时候，前山后山都能滑，滑上个三五天，都不会重复，这个
比较爽。Ａｓｐｅｎ在更往西２个小时车程的地方，据说也非常棒。可惜only for
skiers, not snowboarders. 而且实在太远，只能等下次了。 离Denver 以西一个半
小时的地方，有Key stone, breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin，这几个雪场略微小些。
我的了解仅限于这些雪场是因为我买了Epic Local pass, 能够在这５个雪场通用。第
一天去的Vail, 第二天去的Breckenridge. 以下是几点tips:

经常去训练。去科州滑雪除了飞丹佛，Vail, steamboat Springs and Aspen也有机场
就是飞机小航班少。没有私人飞机的要去Telluride从丹佛机场要开8小时车。还很有可
能被大雪堵山里出不来。离丹佛机场2个多小时车程内主要有两大堆儿雪场。Copper
Mtn, Winter Park 和4个小时的Steamboat Springs 归intrawest管。Keystone,
Breckenridge, Arapaho, Vail and Beaver Creek归Vail Resorts Management
Company管。同一系统的雪场可能有联票。雪季开始前有各种打折的滑雪票卖。
Vail Resorts Management Company最早开始卖很便宜的季票，依稀记得是200块左右。
我就是从那时候开始学滑雪的，贵了玩儿不起啊。后来winter park也学着卖。当初

Direction to trailhead:
Highway 72 -> turn west onto Rainbow Lakes Road (a.k.a. County Road 116, and FDR 298);
Look for the University of Colorado Mountain Research Station sign. Drive past the Sourdough Trailhead, and after approximately 1 mile turn left (south) on FDR 298, following signs for Rainbow Lakes Campground.
This is a rough, native-surfaced road and it is about 5 miles from Hwy. 72 to the trailhead. |

方， 感觉环境很不错~ 旁边还有一家Palm， 看起来也不错的餐馆， 人蛮多的。
Palomino感觉有点Olive Garden的意思， 但是东西稍微可能更fine dinning一点。 前
边是bar， 走到后边是dinning。 我们点了一个Seafood menu上的dish， 实在不知道
怎么写它的名字， 但是里边有Sea Bass, Clam, shrimp, mussels等等， 味道很好，
我很喜欢， 只是根据它的价格 ($26)， 数量有点偏少。 :(
另外点了一个Lobster口味的Bolognese, 就是圆筒形的那个pasta， 味道也很好， 不
是很heavy那种， 但是稍微硬了一点点。 如果没有这个pasta， 上边那个seafood的
菜可能比较难吃饱 :P
