Can a doctor read an x-Ray?
i have had a cough that has presisted for a few days now. Seems to happen
once a year or so. This time seems the worse. I am 31 yrs old if that helps.
Any ways, I had an exray today (i am a smoker) and the doctor said he
thinks it is a bacterial infection and gave me an antibiotics well as

斯坦福大学是教学医院，先出来看你的肯定是住院生，而且每天病人那么多，
attending 就那么几个，如果你是小病，或者看起来是小病，没什么人理你的。
中国医疗北京那么多大医院协和北医连一个铊中毒都看不出来，最后还是美国这边的医
生诊断的。
美国好医生坏医生差特别多，所以一定尽量找医德好名声也好的医生看病。达拉斯还是
休士顿那边一个病理系的教授，脑癌，第一次在local手术，三年就复发了，第二次直
接去了Mayo,十二年了都没啥事。脑神经科医生好坏差别都这么大，别的科更别说了。
另外很多人在国内都是有关系，所以是顶级医疗资源，在这边即没关系也不舍得买好保
险找一个可靠的，人脉广的家庭医生，你所能用到的医疗资源基本上是最差的。能相比
吗？
还有很多中国人因为文化上的差异，不会找家庭医生，随便找个会讲中文的NP或PA了事
，根本不问水平人品人脉。
在美国选择家庭医生非常重要，一人品要正，二人脉要广，三你的保险要好。你的家庭
医生不需要包治百病，但你要build personal 的relationship,他对你情况了解，有事

新买的2010 infiniti G37，低速的时候自动档换档很rough，感觉像开在不平的路上，
尤其是轻踩刹车，或者脚从油门移开时特别明显。
后来上网找了一下，发现是个普遍的问题，很多人都在抱怨，good news is，
infiniti2009年的时候发布了一个TSB，可以免费解决这个问题，只需要更新一下
software。
很多人换完了以后觉得transmission silky smooth，而且耗油减少了很多。
我已经跟local dealer约了service，can't wait.
最近很多人跳了g37，如果有同样的问题，应该尽早跟dealer联系。

I just got mine fixed at the dealers. Thanks to this forum, i knew about the
issue prior to going out and test driving the outbacks. Both ones I drove
didnt have it. I was waiting for a green one and when that arrived--it had
it the issue but I wasnt overly worried about it since it seemed like an
easy fix once id'd.
The funny thing is that both salesmen i went with pretended to have trouble

中午去senior manager，去了之后俩sale上来，以中国人，就是前面有人提到的robert
，他说他去帮我看一下，回来路上用本子挡住嘴跟另一人远远的说啥，不想让我看到。
然后就告senior manager没空（wk，早上make appt，现在没空玩儿我啊，小不爽），
说他可以帮我，然后就说没车给我看，更别提test drive，在他办公室对着电脑忽悠半
天，如果看电脑我来dealer干吗，在家自己看就好了呀，真火大。然后说电脑上可以帮
我看加州的库存，说2015的touareg加州一共就一辆，说得更真的似的，我就不相信全
加州就一辆。
出门就去了GMC，那小白sale态度相比好了无数，详细地讲了demo了acadia的各种功能
，试开了一圈。说他们现在到年底跟costco合作有sale，blahblah，就是车开着就点软
，我开惯了方向盘刹车油门悬挂都硬的车，有点不适应。 |

My wife's brand new 2013 Honda CRV with just over 2000 miles had its power
assist steering fail yesterday, The steering was stiff and impossible to
steer and the yellow steering light on the dash came on. Luckily it happened
in a parking lot where she was driving below 5mph, We had the car towed to
the dealership right away, we think its a serious safety issue any one here

因为不是什么大伤，但是不能等，所以就去了个大医院。大到no appt. needed，在网
上看评分4+，墙上还有二十大几张MD的照片。一顿流程下来不管工作人员、护士还是实
习医生，水平无法评论，态度不错，手法也算轻柔，直到遇到这个白秃逼：白人，40上
下，矮个儿，戴无框眼镜，光头没胡子，phycian assistant。
一进门握了个手报了个名，然后就转过去弄电脑，弄了一会出去了，过了一会带着一堆
剪子钳子啥的又进来了。不爽从这开始：首先丫直接让哥从椅子上坐到床上，上次另一
个人来看可没这么要求哥。因为哥伤了脚，坐床上累，不过丫倒是舒服了，因为可以不
用弯着腰，上次那人要一直弯着腰给哥弄。然后既不像哥之前看过的大部分医生那样先
问问哥咋样，感觉有啥不爽没，这伤是咋弄的，上次的医生都做了些什么之类的常规询
问，又不事先告知what will happen and what he's gonna do to me。哥特么又不是
第一次在美国上医院。琐儿们记住：一个正常的好医生都会先这么问问的，如果不问，

改为card mailed。现在就等着卡寄到了。
其间，我使用过包括 800电话（被拒），传真（被拒），电子邮件（被拒），寄信(接
受)，上门（接受）等各种加急方式。明显感觉，从6月底以来vsc 的案子剧增。根本不
考虑电话，邮件，传真加急。但是经过我的体会。有两种方式，是必须而且有效的，寄
信和上门。
我是快8月看来不及了就试着寄了一封加急信，附上offer， 还有车贷款证明我需要挣钱
还债。同时到当地的移民咨询办公室约了一个见面的时间。事实证明这样奏效了。见面
的时候，那个移民管看了我的材料。然后帮我打了电话。然后和我确认对方已经收到了
加急信。然后告诉我即将的timeline 事实证明，那个咨询管说得很准。我如期被改变
了状态。见面很重要，说话要诚恳！别让他觉得你企图糊弄他。约见你当地的办公室可

是让人seller怎么处理？
或者你设身处地地想一想，你收到这样的unsolicited电话会有什么反应， 不觉得
seller office电话会放在卖房子广告上，如果有也只是schedule appt不是问offer的
，这个应该是agent之间的交互，FSBO除外 |

remember read some principle to select PCP somewhere, FYI:
1. close to your home or office, convenient in location
2. affiliate with a major hospital, convenient to arrange referals when needed
3. big practice with at least several other physicians at the same site, so
you can be covered when your PCP goes for vacation.
4. don't choose those who are too busy, so that you can easily make appts
within a week
etc. etc... |
