听说他出来的年份好象比较早，遭际也不特别顺利，不过我不太了解，所以不能多讲。
他是做电生理的，在这方面挺牛。至于aplysia，我想倒不是他个人的focus
Kandel就是靠Aplysia起家的，他对记忆的研究很得益于他早年做的aplysia的工作
btw, Kandel的Memory是一本很好的书，我觉得看了就对他的整个思想有所了解了
里面前几章几乎都是Aplysia的研究结果和数据:)
不过大家最仰慕黄的是他的心态很平和，很有点道家的味道
也不觉得自己怀才不遇，生活得很怡然自得。
呵呵，哪象我酱紫水平没多少，还整天一山望着一山高呢。
他的文章的确很多，但这103篇文章应该不全是他的，因为Kandel总共也就300多篇而已。 |

is a lot nicer than what I/we have heard...or in another word, his cruelty
is rooted in his obsession with science and indifference to humanity:))); As
