年退税的时候才发现F1是不能退AOTC的。如果被发现，后果会很严重。不知道该用什么
方法补救。请各位帮忙。谢谢 |

这种情况下可以申请 AOTC 和EITC 吗？

仔细看IRS 税务部 给出的 条款：

The full credit is available to individuals whose modified adjusted gross
income is $80,000 or less, or $160,000 or less for married couples filing a
joint return.
The American Opportunity Tax Credit modifies the existing Hope Credit. The
AOTC makes the Hope Credit available to a broader range of taxpayers,
