吃饭为主.
华人餐馆及超市: 多数集中在以下两个广场
黄金广场(9888 Bellaire Blvd): 黄金超市; 周围一圈都是餐馆比如蜀风园(很多人推
荐, 提供火锅), 香港食街(开到很晚, 可能是通宵), 鑫城餐厅(中式早点, 刀削面),
等等
顶好广场(9180 Bellaire Blvd): 惠康超市(很不错, 能找到很多中国食品, 大白兔,
湖南剁椒, 花卷, 包子, 山西陈醋, 大红枣等等), 山东面馆
其他: Peking Cuisine Restaurant 独一处(烤鸭,8332 Southwest Fwy Houston);
Yao Restaurant & Bar 姚餐厅(9755 Westheimer Rd)
卡拉OK: 黄金广场街对面有个麦乐迪, 环境还不错, 不过定小时数一定要问清楚每个时
段的价格.

发帖数: 3729 | 4 今天在Brackenridge Park陪小娃坐火车, 顺便看了1眼那个久负盛名的 Japanese Tea
Garden. 这个花园在上世纪初, 由一处废弃的采石场改建而成. 最初由一个叫 Jingu (
神宫?)的日本人经营, 似乎应该叫茶庄更合适. 二战开始以后, 反日风潮大盛, 神宫后人
被政府送集中营了. 1家姓吴的中国人接盘, 改名叫 Chinese Tea Garden. 1984年的
时候, 日本经济崛起, 当时的 San Antonio 市长下令把正式的名字改回 Japanese Tea
Garden.
花园的入口, 由当时著名的木工艺师 Dionicio Rodríguez 手工雕刻而成, 模仿日本
传统的鸟居样式, 上面的刻字却还是 Chinese Tea Garden.
楼梯建筑由当地特产的石灰岩建成, 好像上次去的 San Antonio Missions 也多是用的
这种石头.
凉亭设计狠赞, 有气势的说.
池里的鱼狠大狠肥.
吃饱喝足了就排队游行
这个据说是干枯的瀑布
从凉亭看出去, 风景如画
当年神宫君烘烤茶叶的炉子
附近的鸭子一家

也已经准备了指南和地图，还有中英对照的应急纸条，他们也带了国际漫游的手机。
其实找到从chicago到san antonio的几乎没可能，不过看历史记录他们转机的飞机应该
是在terminal 1，如果有时间差不多也在t1转机的人能带着我父母去t1过安检，给他们
指一下登机口的方向就好了。不知道有没人那天上海飞到chicago后，要去terminal 1
