-Tocopherol chemically speaking is an oxidant. It's metabolite, duraquinone
, is likely the active form (pubmed Guy Miller). Btw, co-enzyme Q10 is an
oxidant, too. I will call vitamin E compunds "redox modulator," and I
believe they hit a very specific target. Btw, the ROS is likely the end
result of the death cascade, not the cause. |

between tocopherol and tocotrienol came from in vitro or in vivo study?
What's the mechanism? How to prove it? For example, there are similar
antioxidant effects between 1 uM tocotrienol and 10 or 100 uM Tocopherol.

子里面“受过正规生物学训练的”之类的人身攻击，我不认为ap如何如何，只是至少可
以说受过一些生物训练的一个证据。板上大牛很多，你觉得我这样的小人物是bs，不仅
仅是你的个人看法也是客观事实。我一直觉得自己是超级弱人。
说道安全问题，我认为唯一的办法就是严格控制的人体实验。不是转基因的专家，但是
孟山度的网站都说到现在为止没有任何人体实验证明转基因是安全的。
人体实验很多时候是出人意料的，比如说维生素E，动物实验，很多的人体实验观察实
验都号称它有cardiovascular/cancer的预防作用；如果就从生物"理论"推理，似乎也
是合理的，vitamin e有很强的antioxidant作用，很多研究证明了oxidative stress在
很多疾病的作用。后来大规模的严格控制的人体临床实验select证明vitamin E增加癌
症风险。
如果没有select这个大规模的人体实验，你去问vitamin e的研究人员，估计都会告诉

好处。最简单的说，这些玩意儿虽然对保护健康细胞可能有点好处，不过抗癌药物很多
依赖杀死癌细胞的作用可能被抗氧化物抵消，造成失去作用。
不过，我还是没想到这篇文章的出炉，说明抗氧化物可能促进癌细胞生长。 在Sci
Trans Med可是IF16的顶级杂志之一，不是那些发表反转基因的欧洲三流杂志。

葡萄酒中的antioxidents对血管有保护作用，可以减少心肌梗塞的发生率。20%的人会
死于心肌梗塞，所以即便很小程度的降低risk也会有明显的不同。
再者，如果你问美国的医生喝酒有没有害，90%的医生会告诉你过多的饮酒是有害的，
如果每天你每天喝一杯葡萄酒，你不需要改变；如果你不喝酒，你也不需要因为健康原
因去喝酒。
这样的建议来自于上百的临床研究，你说的只是一个。
这是你对医学的不了解。医学上理念的进步是对大量研究的总结，不是一个研究的结论。
临床研究是写给医生看的，你如果没有学过医，不能完全理解和合理评价每个研究的可
信度和价值很正常。循证医学会取代经验医学是不可逆的趋势。

29000人，高达5－8年之时间，找集了20000多人（吸烟的人），让他们每天吃维他命A

的这些人得到癌症、死于癌症的比率高出18%。更重要的，他们发现现有吃维他命E的这
些人得到心脏病、死于心脏病的比率比控制组高出50%。这样的一个报告出来以后，科
学家们的脸不知要往哪摆！因为我们一直以为从小型实验室的研究，不是发现维他命E
能防止我们的血管硬化？应可以防止心脏病，为何在此一个大的实验，且是政府做的实
验，会给我们一个完全相反的效果！
此时美国的卫生署（FDA）就出来作解释，Dr.Victor Herbert他说：『当一个维他命含
在一个橘子里时，我们称它为一个抗氧化剂（antioxidant），可以防止心脏病，防止

通过lifestyle change就能改善不少。鱼油或者flex seed oil这些会有帮助。阿司匹
林只是让血液变的不那么浓，预防血栓，不能降血脂。还有可以吃些抗氧化的补充品比
如Q10 or other antioxidants. 运动是必须的！一天30分走路，一周5天是最基本的。
她这个年级应该再查查她的VD,骨质疏松。 |
