ok, here are my closing procedures. I live in MA, I close my poor mostly at
the end of Sep, although it could be sooner. My procedures apply to my in-
ground vinyl liner pool. I assume other types of pools are similar.
IMPORTANT: pool repairs are expensive! you have to be very careful, don't
rush, if you don't understand the steps, don't do it. you may ruin your pool
permanently!

red/orange stuff and the traditional green kind. They perform the same way
(raise the boiling point and prevent corrosion) but the orange stuff takes

Genuine Nissan Long life Antifreeze/Coolant(Green)or equivalent with the
proper mixture ratio of 50% antifreeze and 50% demineralized or distilled
water.
手里有瓶WALMART那种50%-50% ready-to-use的绿色Coolant，不知coolant这种东西不
同牌子可以混用么？（看起来成分倒是一样）还是等oil change时让dealer给加上？

I have a 93 civic EX 1.6 vtec. 118K. Auto.
Car has had this leak since I got it. It seems to have a wet spot on the
passenger topside of engine. Almost like it could be behind the
thermostat housing. It seems like it could be coming from under the head
but the car runs fine. No white smoke or oil in antifreeze or vice
versa. The sensor bolted to thecyl. head next to the intake manifold

换之前车铺就给列了个单子 上面有一项是antifreeze
请问antifreeze是必须要换的么
还有一个问题
车修好了开回家 大概两三迈 到家以后发动机下部开始冒白烟 coolant的罐子里面基本
没有东西 在机器盖边缘有几滴类似coolant的绿色液体 趴下看车底没有任何漏液体的
状况 不过有漏估计也早就漏干了
现在车又拖回了修车店 他们接着给修 因为之前没有这个状况 所以我怀疑应该是
waterpump什么的没连接好 有没有可能是coolant漏到发动机里什么的 比较严重的状况
有经验的帮忙说说 不想被车铺忽悠 谢谢 |

发帖数: 2552 | 23 书读得以为很多但是其实是半瓶子醋，水是优良的coolant当然没错，毕竟热容大，以
前拖拉机不就是用水降温的，加antifreeze的目的不仅仅是降低熔点，而且可以是增加
沸点，antifreeze很多用的乙二醇，实验室也用过，是个较好的溶剂，因为沸点高可以
在较高温度下保持不沸腾，要是换成水，没冷凝水的话温度一上来就跑光了 |

antifreeze
显然这个并不是给发动机防冻用的. coolant的功能也远不止antifreeze.
比如润滑 大炮的时候也必须得买ky而不能直接用水不是 用水润滑感觉是涩的. |

1. whenever you change the engine oil, you should also replace the oil
filter
2. replacing the engine air and cabin filter is an easy job, no need to pay
the dealer or the auto shop to do it for you. the dealer or the shop won't
use high quality filter, but they will charge you a premium for its filter,
so they can make a profit.
to change it yourself, simply go to autozone or online, buy the right filter

道弄漏气了很烦，很多人都要重新换那个intake gasket。
白金火花塞，主要是负极会消耗。双白金的负极也消耗很慢。
现在的车和以前在维护上有很大不同，
1，以前antifreezer三万迈换一次，现在的12万没问题，实际上可以和换水泵同期。
2，ATF，12万不用管。
3，Fuel Filter，以前是三万要换，现在30万以内不用管，也很难换。
4，火花塞以前3-6万，现在15-25万。 |

买几桶distilled water，任何supermarket都用。
车凉时打开radiator cap, 和radiator低下一个塑料
drain valve放出来coolant。这时engine block里
还有很多没有出来。radiator下面valve关上加清水，
发动车，空调调到最热风，空档踩踩油门让发动机热起来，
知道看到radiator里液体流动，颜色变成coolant颜色。
关车，再打开drain valve放出来。如此数次知道颜色
很浅。
按手册coolant capacity加一半antifreeze，发动车
热后加水到满。 |

每次加水后要发动车直到radiator里的水动起来。
最后放完加容量一半的antifreezer，然后用水填满。
一定用蒸馏水，否则coolant的最重要作用之一：防止

平常启动要低一些（平常1000出头，这时候只有700-800），感觉上就像是力不从心。
油门就像是卡住了或者冻住了一样，要使劲踩一下才能踩下去，踩下去之后转速就上来
了，似乎一切恢复正常，不过还是有一点加速困难。这是什么问题？是引擎什么地方冻
住了吗？需要flush antifreeze？就担心哪天再冷一点彻底启动不起来

有开，现在打不着火了。电池昨天买了新的，还是不行。可以确定starter是好的，因
为打火的时候有crank，皮带也转，上电的时候fuel pump嗡嗡的两秒，是在启动加压。
仪表盘上汽油显示是半满。
我查了一下，有可能是输油管被冻住了，加了一种fuel antifreeze，牌子是Heet的，
也不管用，因为是在温度太低，就是冻伤了估计也很结实。停车场理apartment太远，
没有电线可以接，不知道怎么能加热，让冻得地方解冻。
各位有没有类似的问题和经历，最后怎么能解决？谢谢了。 |
