Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, his
doctor said Wednesday.
“It is a difficult and very rare type of tumour,” Dr. Zane Cohen said in a
Wednesday evening press conference, describing Ford’s cancer as a
malignant liposarcoma.
“It’s a fairly aggressive tumour…but we are treating this aggressively in
order to irradiate the tumour. We are optimistic about this tumour.”

“特金会”选在新加坡举行，专家分析其中一个原因就是4700多公里的飞行距离，对于
金正恩来自前苏联时代的“老爷专机”来说，刚好可以完成。除此之外，平壤方面还面
临不少交通运输上的难题。
朝鲜领导人金正恩远赴新加坡与美国总统特朗普会面的计划带来了交通上的挑战。因为
朝鲜方面可能要动用苏联时代的飞机搭载金正恩和他的专用轿车，以及数十名安全人员
和其他后勤工作人员。
一位韩国青瓦台官员告诉路透社记者，之所以选择新加坡作为有史以来美朝现任领导人
第一次会晤的地点，一方面是由于新加坡距离平壤不算太远，飞行时间适中，另一方面
也是出于新加坡的政治中立性。
自从2011年接任朝鲜最高领导职务以来，金正恩为外界所知的飞行出访只有一次——那
就是本周初他到大连与中国国家主席习近平会晤。当时他乘坐的是苏制的伊尔-62M型号
专机，另外还有一架运输机随行，熟悉朝鲜事务的人表示运输机内装载的应该是金正恩
的专用轿车。
