I downloaded a file named "amsn-0.97.2-1.tcl85.x86.package" from amsn
website;
I update the Synaptic Package Manager's repo;
now when I search for "amsn" in SPM, I can see two amsns:
1 amsn
2 amsn-data
both of them have the same latest version:0.97.2~debian-2ubuntu2
so, they are same and I choose either of them?
PS. how can I input Chinese in ubuntu 9.04? |

System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manager -> search amsn ->
right click amsn item -> Mark for Complete Removal -> click 'Apply' button

support voice chat.

1 - the audio conversations are not supported by amsn because there is
no code for it and there is no good library implementing this
2 - the codec needed for encoding and decoding the voice is proprietary
to microsoft and is not known by anyone (apart from me.. see below) and
we can't implement it until someone reverse engineers the codec which is
a lengthy process that noone wants to do...

关机明显快很多，基本上是一下子就关了，开机的时候没啥印象；
SL新建了一个incompatible software folder, 不兼容的软件会移到这里，但打开了没
看到什么，parallel 2.5不兼容，但我用的是VMWARE，XP还是死的。 Leopard cache
cleaner 不好使了，打开就退出，这个软件原来就有过类似问题,amsn也不行了，别的软件还没发现兼
容问题。
开机报告super drive 2.1错误，这个都忘了是啥了。
最让我FT的是装完了多出了17G的空间！我的硬盘是250G的，实际空间232G，MAC 202.
XG， PC 29.XG, 现在变成了MAC 215.6G, PC 34G, 格式都没变但实际空间变成249.6G
了。 MAC上的可用空间多出了15G整，就是说装完了SL后系统瘦身了1G多，
应用软件速度没感觉出明显变化，还没有全面去试。每打开一个应用软件时都出来一个窗口用一个叫plugsuit agent.app的东西先验证一下，输一下密码才通过。
SL看来是对风扇管理进行了比较大的优化，原来是平常转速都 |
