I personally attended the protest in front of white house in 1999. Some
reports counted 1000 people at that protest. There were protests in front of
US ambassy and consulates in China. And Chinese government gave Clinton
administration an earful to say the least.
During the 1999 bombing of Chinese Ambassy, no US personel was in the
ambassy, the ambassador and other high rank officials were not hurt. At
least two of the victims were attached journalists.

1. drop by Canada Ambassy in Detriot. 2 hours later you can pass the
bordline. Cash OK.
2. mail all your doc. to the Canada Ambassy, two or three weeks later you'll
get the passport w/ VISA back.
Money order only.

Yes, this is my first time to write something here. before this trip I just
come here to read some articles and share other's experience. Since the
experience is so bad, I do want to give an alarm to those who want to go to CJ
in recent days.
I do not mean that you will not get the visa, but the danger is obvious.
However, if you have made your mind that you will go back to china after you
are denied, that is another thing.

This is a totally different experience than what people here been had in TJ.
Date: 4/1/08
7:00am: I crossed the border, took the cab, paid at the bank
9:30am Line up in front of US Ambassy. Took 20 minutes to get to the infor
window.
10:00am Took picture, fingerprints.
10:15am Waiting for interview. I check the line and I am the 7th person. Seem good but here the nightmare started.
