sound driver也是坏在oss上面，alsa我看就很不错。
qt搞了那么多年非开放协议，后来开放了，可是感兴趣的人的激情也没有了。 |

我同意部分驱动或者更多的闭源软件根本就不该open source，所以我强力倡导wine，
还有那个什么ndiswrapper。闭源驱动里面的bug是windows一大恶心之处，虽然都有ms
logo认证，我看这也是在vista里面微软把显卡驱动架构换成那个wddm的真正原因。 |

不过alsa的东西最后那api搞成那样也太有本事了，上千个函数，而且没几个人知道是干

I solved it by disabling pulse and only using alsa driver in mplayer. |

试了host里面降低音量，试了改host的palseaudio, oss, 和alsa audio driver都没用

after reboot, there may be some driver conflict thing going-on).
This is the sequence I follow each time to make the mic work again, it' s
for debian but I guess it'll also work for ubutntu.
Make internal micrphone work in T61 with alsa driver
1. run alsamixer in terminal, in playback panel (F3), unmute "internal" (M),
adjust it's volume (>70 is good) and leave the boost as is.

I think you need root privilege.
1. go to http://dl.pps.tv/ to download ppstream for linux,
2. then follow instruction in http://www.pps.tv/about/6/364.html.
basically, you do "sudo dpkg -i ppstream_1.0.0-1_i386.deb".
3. start the ppstream, if the audio doesn't work, then change
option: 工具— 选项— 选择音频设备— 修改为 "alsa". |

theme，喇叭发一下声音，skype 的CPU占用一下就到0了，之后就平静
