然后10年以后让非法劳模从这里申绿卡，是这次CIR的核心条目啊。
1. 一年12万个名额，可以根据需求调整
2. 2014年10月开始先清EB等了3年和FB等了5年和其他等了10年的人
3. 2015年之后开始按照一个什么fourmula来清剩下的人
4. 在美国工作时间越长，住的时间长，有亲戚还有受教育越高的分越高

allocate a chunk of 20*40 bytes as a pool. then whenever you want to
allocate 20 bytes, you allocate from that pool. this kind of pool is quite
easy to maintain as you don't need to know the size of chunk, so there is no
waste.
but again this depends on your allocation pattern. if you allocate a lot of

发帖数: 2416 | 32 哪有那么简单？只allocate不free是最底层的。上层的有能free的。
比如我最常用的binary allocator。每次都把size round up to nearest 2 n次方。这
样free都到一个free list里面，allocate先查free list。内存利用率低一点。但是保
证allocate和free都是纳秒级。
其它的各种allocator多了，比如object pool等等等等。有些我甚至都没看到其他人用
过。有很多都是自己拍脑门搞出来的。
有研究表明，一般而言一个server进程的70%-90%执行时间都消耗在memory management
上。因此，优化还是有必要的。
当然你可以argue有时free和allocate是上层比如STL vector reallocarlte导致的。随
后的memory copy更消耗时间。其实，很多时候我们可以保证reallocate不发生。但是
我们仍然有动态内存管理的需求。 |

的结果。说白了就是，虽然他们个人支持cruz，他们七月去cleveland 投谁不是他们说
了算，要今天的结果说了算.

市场情况调节asset allocation。相反的，他们通常是passive managed.
根据事先研究好的model分配资金，不管市场如何变化，asset allocation
不变。唯一变动的部分是随着年龄增加，逐渐降低风险，提高income。
fund manager可以随便变动asset allocation的那种叫aasset allocation
fund。可能今年100％ stock，明年80％ junk bond。manager bet on next
market move，他要是错了，你损失就大了。大家所谓不相信fund manager
是指这种fund。
综上所述：选target mature/life cycle fund不是靠manager，而是靠他们
的model。你不是选manager而是选model以及合适自己的risk。
Model就是asset allocation plan，它是你投资之前需要决定的最重要的事。

static (compile time) allocation 用的是 stack 和 data segment
其中data segment 是用来存static 和 global variable 的。
从语法来说，用叉叉alloc function 和 new 的，是

是dollar for dollar match up to 5%。也就是说你每存一美元进去，公司也出一美元
存进你的账户，直到存满你工资的5%。之后你再存钱进去, 公司就不再match了。所
以如果你一年内contribute 5%, 你的账户里实际有了你工资的10%。但须注意有的公
司帮你存的钱可能不是fully vested。公司的contribution虽然在你的账户里显示，但
还不真正属于你。如果你公司的规定是4年vested而你在第二年便离开公司，你只获得
你自己的contribution加上公司contribution的25%。

有人看到新闻说delegate代表40个人支持cruz,别误会了白着急哈。
研究了一下:
The delegates were chosen over the weekend at the state Republican
convention, but they won't know who they're representing until the primary
results. Of the 41 elected delegates, 40 were Cruz supporters. However,
under party rules, each delegate is bound to the primary results for the
first round of voting at the national convention.
41个delegates 中，40个事ted支持者。但是，他们支持谁是不算数的。要看今天vote
的结果。说白了就是，虽然他们个人支持cruz，他们七月去cleveland 投谁不是他们说
了算，要今天的结果说了算.

If you use new to allocate a new array, it is allocated in heap. I remeber
available space in heap is huge because of virtual memory. In addition, heap
is well managed so that error is returned if your memory allocation request
can not be satisfied.
If you use static definition (like vector vec[10000]), it is allocated in
stack. In linux, some systems have default limitation about the stack size.

chunk.
alloc 500m then other svr u should at least take up >300m. why alloc such
huge size? maybe u should pre-alloc huge mem and self manage, and use
another heap for small allocs and then no frags. |

就是thread-local bump-the-pointer allocation, 就算是fast path也需要平均 12
instructions。C/C++的memory allocation也不是一定需要freelist-based，很多
customized的allocator就用bump-the-pointer。並且allocation的efficiency不光光
是通過allocation幾條指令來衡量的，還有好多好多的因素，比如説cache locality,
同一個processor的不同threads會不會經常access同一個cache line，還有
fragmentation等等。各種原因在一起非常複雜。
另外performance-wise“可以肆无忌惮地创建对象，把一切对象化”不是一個good
idea :) 現在看到很多server applications的scalability已經被excessive object
