同情ing,所以说太委屈求全,隐忍的个性不好 - but it's not your fault, your
childhood experience kind of shaped certain personality trait of yours.
Being an agreeable person and the ability to show empathy to others can be your great strength, but we need to learn to respect our own needs and take care of our
own needs first. (I find that to be a major cultural difference b/t the east
and the west.)

”一词。KJV翻译成EVIL, NKJV和NASB翻译成“calamity”NIV翻译成“disaster”.
根据下面的参考文献,这个词的含义很丰富,除了有“EVIL”的意思之外,还有其他方
面的意思。
在诸多意义中,一个比较符合以赛亚书45:7的意思是“灾难/不幸/逆境”,这和之前
的“PEACE”形成对比,就如上半节,光与暗形成对比一样。这样理解比较符合上下文。
根据解经文献来看,大体有两种解释,第一,这个词在这里是指“灾难”。第二,这个
词在这里指“EVIL OF PUNISHMENT”。而这两种定义不矛盾,结合更大的上下文背景看
,灾难可以作为神对亚述的PUNISHMENT。

I find it very agreeable on how to do meditation. This book is written by a
Buddhist indeed, and I agree with what he said in this book, but I just can'
t accept other things in Buddhism, and I don't even feel like it matters to
accept them or not.

He is very against international institutions who promotes capital accounts
liberalization, like IMF, as what IMF did on Southeast Asian Countries
during the 1997 financial crisis.
He is extremely enthusiastic sometimes when giving lectures, and looks like
“老顽童”in my view, with his white hair and beard.
I remember he quitted his former position in World Bank because his opinion is not

对了,前几天跟人家讨论,啥叫 nice。我也觉得不好说,就去查字典,大致是这样的:
nice = agreeable
1 : pleasing to the mind or senses especially as according well with one's
tastes or needs
2 : ready or willing to agree or consent
3 : being in harmony : consonant
或者是望之俨然,即之也温,那种。

happen to have done that once in the place of my boss---essentially the
program wanted to know the following through the interview:
1. Your background--in particular research/field experience level
2. your passion/motivation for science
3. your communication skill
4.your potential to be PhD student overall...

十分感谢!但是我觉得这4方面的问题,当初三周多前电面的时候已经问过了啊,所以
我不太明白为什么还要专门安排一天多的interview,是继续了解我考验我的成分比较
多,还是大家互相见个面,看看眼缘就拍板。。。不过可能也有区别吧,因为电面只有
一个老师,这次面对面是4个多。。。

COme to think about it, unlike Lookacar, I thought I would never be good
enough for bring a mathematician, pure math mathematician, so I choose to do
something else early on. But quite often I would look at math a little, and
found them interesting, still.

俺现在华盛顿,3月21-28春假期间,准备出去走走看看。俺只跟团去过纽约,波士顿
,美国其它地方从未涉足。非常想去加州,但是如果您想去其它非纽约波士顿的地方,
俺也可以同去。俺这个人不爱操心,也不是当家做主的料,只想轻轻松松地跟着别人玩
儿。如果您对美国非常熟,又非常地会plan, 又是开车自驾游的话,那就再理想不过了
。俺非常地agreeable, 您去哪儿都成,俺只要跟着您走就行了。当然费用俺会照出不
