的时候，有accent。但是，我认真准备上课的内容；我尽量用简短的句子表达自己的意
思，并注重句子之间的逻辑；我还经常用图，表，slides等教学手段...我的课总是能
够获得很好的评价。而且，我经常看电视，和美国人交流等，口语提高很快...但是phone interview最后还是悲剧了。而且还被身边的人批说回答“accent”是一个不好的回答。 |

regardless.
Try talk to undergraduates when you get a chance, no matter what topic. |

郁闷的是面试我的两个印度人，accent比我强，我有个问题要她重复了不下5遍，实在
不知道她问什么啊。。。最后另一个老美解释了下，终于明白了。我觉得我所有问题都
答得挺好的，但是因为听不懂他们，总要他们重复。面我的是team里直接一起工作的人
，所以不知道会不会因为交流问题不要我了。。。。要是因为别的原因，我倒是死心了

Every one of us has ChingEnglish ( am I typing it correctly?).
ChingEnglish is not that fearful.
We may think that ChingEnglish is our accent in pronunciation when we talk
about ChingEnglish or when people tell us that we have ChingEnlgish.
Actually, this is only one part of it. Another part is our 'accent' in
thinking.
Both parts are difficult to remove. My teacher suggested me to ignore them.

上礼拜出去吃饭，点完菜，小丫头竟然说对我的chinese accent 觉得 embarrassing！
我真是...
虽然跟她说了一些“英文是爸爸妈妈的second language”，“很多人有accent” 之类
的，但心理有点小郁闷，8岁就开始嫌弃老妈了，再大点会不会觉得我老土？会不会对
chinese mom "embarrassing"啊？是不是我想太多？教孩子真是学问啊！

hatred or biased emotion as well. Most people could understand Chinese
speaking English with some accent. If LZ's accent problem is really that big
, she probably wouldn't have even survived the medical school. And

pretty much hopeless.
BUT, does accent really bother one's success in career? I don't think so.

statement of "连跟老美打电话都不敢，就是因为口语太差了" does not apply to
Jerry Zhang. First, you cannot say he is bad at 口语 -- you just know he has
an accent after viewing the video. Secondly, even if he is bad at 口语, you
cannot say he 连跟老美打电话都不敢, otherwise how has his business been
prospering these years?
