过，不知道username和password。打了一个电话问了一下，说我从来没有注册过，所以
没有账户，让我sign up一下，就可以log in了。然后就sign up了一个账户,激活，发
现我竟然有了一个新的AAMC ID， 和以前查到的不同,这样就同时有了两个AAMC ID.再
电话问了一下，说一个人只能有一个，不可能有两个，但是他们也不知道我怎么就有了

再详细阅读AMCAS 2010 Instruction Book 的60页：Independent Attendance,
Transferred.
如你将国内的本科学分转到美国或加拿大的任何一所四年制本科学校（你可以选择在这
个学校修一部份Pre-med的课程），然后由这所学校将成绩单（包括国内转来的学分）
送给AMCAS。按照规定AMCAS会认证这些国内的学分（算到总的学时及GPA里）。
整个过程比较麻烦。但是如果能够成功还是能起到事倍功半的效果。下面是一个简单的
过程：
1。到国内的本科学校办好官方成绩单。
2。到国内的教育部对成绩进行认证。请教育部直接将认证好的成绩单送给美国的WES(
wes.org)。
3。同时到WES网站对你的成绩单进行course by course的认证。
4。到你所在的城市的四年制本科学校注册为全职的学生(undergraduate)，如你已有本
科学历，美国的四年制本科学校会要求你提供WES |

精华区里有很多前人的宝贵经验，我的建议是早开始做题，ps/bs真的不难，只要那些课程都学过，把examcrakers快快的过一遍，然后多做题，mcat考一些需要记忆的概念，但都是比较基本的，很多大部头的信息（比如说内分泌的那些激素啦）题目中一般都会提供，最终考得还是偏重理解、推理，which is nice hehe。科学这部分我买了examcrackers 1001系列，还有princeton review系列，后者可以到ebay上找，说来惭愧，我做题开始的太晚，最后书的利用率不到20%，aamc也才做了不到4套，//blush，大家把科学部分ace了应该不是问题的，加油；vr考的阅读能力短期提高不容易，目前的趋势是文章越来越长（至少从前几次考试大家的反馈来看），建议把examcrackers的vr 101好好过一遍，然后把aamc的练习题目都做了；写作可以去看看aamc的范文，非常的八股，应该不是问题。
aamc一共有8套真题（3-10），3是免费的，书过完之后可以拿来练练手，这一套稍微简单点，不过可以涨涨信心让心里有个底哈~~~ 我个人的感觉是这个考试要比gre/l |

我个人觉得examkrackers就很好，物理化学有机可以快快过一遍；生物总的来说重要知
识点都有了，少的是一些细节，有时间的话可以找本生物书或者wiki来帮助加强理解，
我觉得生物可以把书多过两遍，看完书多做点题，bio 1001据说不错；vr的那本教程我
觉得对我自己用处不大，但是vr 101 passages很多人都说很好，买了以后我一直没舍
得做，直到考完ft，我还搞来了20年的lsat阅读真题，个人感觉lsat阅读比gre难一点
，和mcat差不多，以我有限的经验来看lsat文章稍微有点偏短，但是也是很好的练习。
完整模拟题有aamc的3-10，Kaplan有10套左右，princeton review/berkeley review各
有若干套，有时间都做了的话ps/bs拿个25-26应该不是问题，再高我个人感觉要靠细心
和知识全面，这个就看个人的修行了。aamc的模拟题系统很方便，每道题目都有比较详
尽的解释，而且按照科目给你分类，aamc pt3是免费的，偏容易，但是早期可以作为诊
断以及增强信心考试，我就是做了这一套马 |

估计这里的朋友没有人比我经历更坎坷：国内老MB, research不强兼无卡及so so 成绩；很早就开始准备但很晚
才下决心开始；大病一场差点牺牲中断复习再重新开始；第一次match信心满满却名落孙山；第二年继续努力，
两年面试三十几家program几乎走遍美国；match上了还要回国说服卫生部开始支持J签证，同时要说服program
保留位置等我回来。
我不想总结成＂有志者事竟成＂的格言，because that's more like placebo than
reality. 但是如果没有这点勇气，毅力和狠劲，一切也不过是空谈。

token将于5月31号作废，但是到ecfmg察看还在那儿。他们说7月1号重新申请一个新的
2010年的token。

在问一个问题，7月1号拿到新的token后，就可以到myERAS注册AAMC ID了对吗？看了

国际学生想考美国医学院，有三座大山：身份，实力，资金（每次都这么开场，汗一下）
因为我们是international，美国录取国际学生的医学院只有三四十所不到的样子（全
美一百五十多所），而且大多是私立大学，且实力雄厚排名靠前，换句话说，竞争激烈

收国际学生的med school本来就少，竞争又激烈，加上很多学校是给本州或本国居民优
先权，所以难度确实很大，我3年前来这里问的时候，有个人回复说可能性‘close to

据官方数字，2006年有293个国际学生最终入读美国医学院，我敢说这里头加拿大的没
有200也有180

两个今年应该问题不大吧，我记得 ERAS 免费提供 30 个单位SCRAMBLE，对病理来说足
够用了。如果能打进去电话，已经成功一半了。当然，你如果考虑 SCRAMBLE 其他专业
那另说，那样的话你的 PS, 推荐信什么的恐怕都得重来。
AAMC 这个网站可能对 IMG 更有用些，我认识有人通过这个网站找到 RESIDENCY 或者
PRE-RESIDENCY FELLOWSHIP 的。

我的医生已经给我写了推荐信，是waive the right to see the letter。信装在信封
里封好，我自己保存着，可是我没有 AAMC ID, 她用的是我的USMLE ID.可是我还需要
随付cover letter, 而上面是需要填写AAMC ID得， 那该怎么办呢？不添留空吗？
还有那项applied to speciaty，该如何填写呢？

Dear Doctor,
Thank you for contacting ERAS Support Services at ECFMG.
It is not required that your AAMC number appear on your letters of
recommendation. Simply have the letter writer submit it to you in a sealed
envelope, hold that envelope until you have registered for ERAS and received
your AAMC number, and then mail it to our offices for scanning with the LOR
Coversheet and Document Submission Form that will both will include that
number.

my vague impression, I used to track on the arrival of the LORs (as well as
other documents) at ECFMG ERAS support service and scanning of the documents
to the AAMC ERAS everyday. They always scan the documents in the order of
arriving. That's how I found out they accidentally scanned my PTAL to a
wrong spot of a regular LOR at AAMC ERAS (I know, this is scary and happens rarely, but I was lucky to have been tracking and |

AAMC made very clear about their intentions:
1) Produce enough physicians by US medical schools, and reduce the
dependence on foreign-trained doctors;
2) The H-1 visa is not appropriate for physicians coming to the U.S. for
