可以促进现在汽车市场革命
比如平常上下班堵车都堵30min-1hr交给自动驾驶尾随前车 技术容易实现的
这样一步步来 到完全无人看守驾驶 符合市场接受度 小步快步迭代 |

始看书->8hrs;周日10 hrs. 一个星期保证20个小时。
busy season:晚上7点到家，8点-11点， 看三个小时书，周末16小时。 保证一周30小
时。
考试之前请三天PTOs突击。 这样持续了一年多了。 考了四门，pass三门， 最后一门
在等score release. |

背景：
本人国内一流本科的生物专业本科生毕业，刚毕业就直接去了香港读生化博士。 很大
程度是因为不自信吧，其实我成绩很好，当时本科排名在班第二。想出国觉得自己英语
不好，没有G/T，就打算去香港。香港的高校正好来内地招生， 香港是没有rotation的
，要去前定好老板，我怕牛老板不要，就拣了来面试学生的一般老板（当时还是副教授
），老师面试完当场就给了offer，我好像抓住了救命稻草一样，于是就屁颠颠的去了。
去了以后诸多不如意。 总之觉得博士生活和之前预想的天差地别。去之前挺理想主义
的，想好好锻炼英语，多上课，全面发展一下blablabla，去之后发现上述目标对于老
板都是p，最好就是天天在实验室里做实验。另一个不顺心的就是和老板性格不和，（
倒不是说老板人品差）主要就是性格不和，这东西有时候就跟两口子过日子，不和谁也
没办法。 老板是属于很强势的类型，什么都要管，不只是科研方面啦，选什么课做什
么课题就不说了，生活方面也管。 具体的说，老板喜欢性格内向，听话的人， 我性格

发帖数: 541 | 7 1 intern 都快3周了，我的第一个rotation是ED, 我们这里是15个shift, 8hr. 基本上
是one day on one day off的schedule. 跟floor比起来，那是神仙般的日子。
我是很impressed美国的医学教育，尤其是cme,向我们这个小地方，随便一个attending
都能把书背上一段，而且非常重视教学。这点太值得我们学习了。觉得自己当年混日子
太羞愧了。还有就是觉得医学知识浩如烟海，要学的东西太多太多了。
2 IM 我觉得 intern 期间能够把红宝书， mgh pocket medicine 掌握了就了不得的了
不得了。其他的大部头书参考一哈就行了啊。
3 attitude 最重要。一问三不知，当然不好了。但是咱态度最起码要端正，对病人，
对上级，对护士 要nice.尤其是护士，和她们搞好关系，life easy好多好多。
4 新的一年申请又要开始了，不要忘了今年又多了～500 amg， 比去年又难了些。对于
申请 IM 的同学来说，不管你刚开始心气多高，都要有心里准备接受最后回去
community based pg 的结果。 |

I tried for one week last month, man, the efficiency is extremely low, even
lower than when i worked and studied. i think the best method for me is work
6~8hrs and then study in the morning before going to school, and study agai
n after 9PM (or earlier) before sleep. |

have to wait for a couple of years, but eventually you will get in.
residency is competitive, someone might not get matched forever
I think PA is good for people have big family responsibility with no big
career ambition. Many IM, Ped, Fam and neurologist get less than $140K in
academic hospitals. A PA for surgery or pathology or anathesiology can

为期一个月的ACAP 组织的急诊科observershsip刚刚结束，感觉学到了不少东西，而且
认识到了自己的不足，也得到了几个attending 的鼓励和认可。 这里要非常感谢ACAP
的热心组织和事无巨细的无私帮助。

但是因为科室地点不同，所以我主要谈几点不同的地方。
这个急诊科是周围几家医院中最大的trauma和急诊中心，但是没有自己的residency

to contact the school you want to go, to see if there is any pre-requisite
courses you can waive, or what you need to take here. Then try to get a
volunteer job in a pharmacy or a hospital. My husband just got a pharm. job
(4-8hr a week) in a pharmacy. The boss suggests him to take pharm. tech exam
too. |

1. Glucose tolerance test should be done properly before we can rely on its
result. It is very important to make sure for days or even weeks before the
test, the patient has not been restricting carbohydrate. Secondly the
patient should be fasted properly (8hrs rule). You would be surprised how
people understand fasting.lol I have had a patient (back in china) who
thought fasting means no meals but fruits doesn't count so she had some
grape before bed...

$294 for flush and belt replacement.
同时告诉我说车况良好，就是clutch不行了（8hr*$99/hr labor + $289 part），随时
会die，不换的话一旦slip,flywheel（$1100）也要换，同时车轮需要rotate+balance
（$170），左前车窗regulator要换（$375）。
最后除了那个flush和belt，我又让他换了clutch，做rotate+balance，车窗暂时不管
了，给了我10% off。7788 + tax得1 |

1． Mongul 的地方朕不去。
2． 刚到山顶要duck walk 的那一段不算
3． 计时到”slow” sign 前10米 （不减速的话恐怕会吃官司）
这3点约定合情合理吧？ 你还敢赌吗？ |

throwing hands face up. He folded AA when top pair on board J paired on
river, he folded AK
with board AA1037 when the other guy raised him big. I felt good when he
folded KK when he bet 20 on A82 board and I raised 25 with 89 suited.
He was running bad down to ~600, he got around 1.2k when I sat down. Now
comes the hand: the old man limped and called my $15, 3 handed saw the flop
3310. I bet 25,he called and the other guy |

but if it happen only like 1 of 20 times or less, see 2 or 3k for 160 hr
still not bad。。
consider buy in lost，can not see stablly profitable..
used to play cash game only, big swings. now like tournament much more,
though long hours and you get tired afterwards, but if you get lucky, you
can win 2 or 3k for 8 hours work, at most. not bad. |
