but the coupon reached it's max before I pulled the trigger. This config is
almost as good. Same processor, ram and video card. Slightly smaller HD and
no blue ray. But is $20 cheaper. I don't need the blue ray, so this is
better for me. And it actually has a 2-year service plan as opposed to 1.

Total newbie to posting deals, so please forgive my mistakes. I was looking
for a desktop for a while, but wasn't able to get the right price. Today, I
saw Staples having the Dell XPS 8300 (Core i5) with 1.5TB HD and 8GB ram
for $599. Normally this machine is in the $700 range (everywhere I look -
Dell Outlets, BestBuy etc).
I combined the $599 deal with $30 off $150 Staples coupon and got it down to
$569 (before taxes).

昨天收到XPS 8300。打开一看，大吃一惊。首先是重量和个头。原以为怎么也是个大块
头，30多磅，和precision差不多的。结果顶多是个mid-size，很轻。
用料也尤其省。主板上没有一个PCI，SATA只有四个。PATA没注意，可能就没有吧。反
正也不用。视频没有DVI，一个HDMI和VGA。接显示器头疼。用起来感觉还可以，毕竟是
个sandy i5。加个显卡，换个电源马马虎虎用了。 |
