The only thing LZ needs to take a note is: the requirements for your job
must be typical as for similar jobs across the company. If similar jobs only

reasons to justify it. |

我的律师现在都以为是申请当前职位。之前我们自己research出来一点东西就要去找律
师讨论，把他教会后他就装作是自己知道的（有信件作证）。也找雇主闹过说要换律师
，都行不通。明显我算不上2年经验他愣是随便就让master+2yr的广告打出去了，去找
他还说“你确定现任雇主经验不算？谁告诉你的？你朋友？”回头他自己查到条文了就
装模作样发封email说建议我找雇主讨论一下这个经验问题，但他表都交了，还讨论个
啥？就是一猪头啊 |

我刚刚找到工作，我有master‘s degree
招工的广告， 对我的位置（level I） 要求是 bachelor
还有一个招sr一点的位置（level II） 要求bachelor+2yrs experience
为我的perm（要求较低的那个）打广告的话
可能要求bachelor + 5 yrs 吗？ 可能进EB2 category吗？
就算是律师可以弄成要求 bachelor +5yr，给level II的要求还是 bachelor+2 yrs，是
不是矛盾了?
找工作不易，打广告更难

发帖数: 53 | 12 潜水有一段时间，看到很多人在犹豫要不要转EB3，忍不住上来说两句。
个人意见，向我自己这样，PD有两年或两年以上的就没必要折腾了，假设你现在从新
file perm，以公司律师的低效率，等个4-6个月才file上去算可以接受了，现在perm批
的又慢，保守一点估计要一年，在加140要 2-3个月，总的要花1.5~2yr才能拿到新的
140. 其中还有太多变数没法估计，EB2转eb3历史上从来没人干过，移民局会不会故意
找茬不好说。
反过来现在stay on EB2，最差的结果也就在等2.5-3年，很有可能demand下去以后移民
局再次放水，有很大希望2年内就交485了，那边转eb3的，花了很大的力气，顺利的话
也就140刚下来，划不来吧。要是现在还得先换工作再file eb3更是不知要等到什么时
候。
现在以不变应万变才是上策。 |

是符合EB2标准的。
第（1）个例子master+3yr当然符合EB2
第（4）个例子master+2yr OR bachelor+4yr不能算EB2。因为后一个要求不满足
bachelor+5yr的EB2要求。
文章根本没讨论EB2是否能降到EB3，而且这文章肯定很早了，并不是针对最近这种情况
写出来的。

争取一下应该可以EB2, 但想到EB3现在比EB2快，所以也就从了EB3。但看了律师起草的
Job Description 有些担心， 感觉这个Job Description 把职位的Minimum
Requirement 写低了蛮多， 比如干这个职位的同事都是Master degree (大部分还是
PhD), 但Minimum Requirement 只要Bachelor + 2yr experience, 工作中一些很重要
的Skills 也被淡化或者省略了。 不把职位写得虚高避免Audit可以理解，但要把职位
写得比实际要低是为什么呢？ 律师起草前要我把职位需要的技能都列出来， 有些我还
特意强调了，但律师还是选择性地忽略了，不知律师是否有其他（不便明说的）考量。
公司是个大公司， 代理Perm 的是 Fragomen, 想问问大家是否有相似的经历？这种情
况是否应该再和律师强调一下职位要求？大家会认真地修改律师起草的Job
Description吗? |

概一年9万多点base，最近拿到波士顿一家公司的offer,base比现在高一点11万，7%
bonus和现在一样比例。不晓得是否值得去。望各位小伙伴各抒己见，诚谢！
波士顿公司在billerica区域，貌似比市区房租是便宜些，不过比大农村还是贵了好多
，感觉高出来的一点点base勉强才够cover要多交的房租。要买房的话更是不够了。
本人一家三口人有一碎小娃，爸妈偶尔会来一下，估计要租至少两卧室的，近四五年不
用考虑学区问题，不晓得billerica向外到495一带的非常安全尽量生活也比较便利的
apartment或着小的townhouse是什么价位？向内到95一带会贵多少？
波士顿比较吸引人的就是LD也估计能比较容易找到工作，至少比大农村肯定容易很多。
两个人都工作了会比现在一个人好些。不过如果去了的话至少会有估计一年多时间得俺
一个人的11万工资养家糊口。去波士顿寻求两个人都工作 vs 继续呆在大农村一个人寻
求升职加薪Vs 留在大农村再继续找机会去其他没波士顿这么贵的大城市两人都工作。

My two cents to add:
1.My experience at Modern bar room was not good either (2yr ago) - food was
par and service was slow (maybe because of Friday). The portion of main
course is ridiculously tiny.
2. Nougatine - just had dinner there. Like the relaxed/downtoearth
atmosphere. Sizes were huge (relative other French), was particularly
impressed by the roast chicken - delicious and goes really well with the
veggies and mustard. Appetizer and dessert not mouthwatering but pretty |
