now, let's say $50; or buy 2x8G now, let's say $350. then when you need 32G,
and 8G is cheap, in first option, you can buy 4x8G to replace, let's say $
200; in 2nd option, you can buy another 2x8G to replace, let's say $100.
so it's $50+$200+extra 2x4G, vs $350+$100. the choice is clear.
really need 16G, 2x8G is better than 4x4G. |

发帖数: 2859 | 31 First. I did not suggest to buy 8G stick now. I kept suggesting to buy when 8G is not enough. 8G total is good enough for me now. When I need 16G, it's probably one year from now. the 8G stick price will drop.
It's no brainer to buy 2x4G instead of 2x8G if you buy NOW.
And at that time I can sell the 2x4G and get some money back, when 2x4G can still worth something.

算用（写MPI的程序，有时候local用虚拟的多核小规模调试，然后放大在远程超算）。
希望大家给我下面的配置单提一些意见 先谢谢了：
（1） CPU选2500K还是2600K？ 偶尔调试MPI程序可能2600K更适合一些的样子； 觉得
2700K没有必要，传言intel就是挑选了一部分2600K stock unlock的高了一点而已；
（2） 内存有没有好的2 X 8G的选择？
（3） SSD是性价比最高的升级，最近是不是应该盯着crucial M 128G？ $170-$30(-$
40 ink reward) 看上去怎么样？ 或者有更好的SSD deal请指教，谢谢 （现在两个笔
记本用的一个是Intel 320一个是Kingston V100其中Intel明显好多了）
