first of all, jobs and woz are both competent technically. jobs was
adequate, while woz was brilliant.
2ndly, for the stuff they are pioneering in the 80s, it's so cutting edge
that there's no college curriculum covering them, even if they want to study
it in school. certainly with what we know now about PC they seem tame -
but for the era what they did was very much at the bleeding edge.

first of all, 在欧洲开车,俺真的没有因为在左边开车,不换到右边而被按喇叭,
icefox, 俺在欧洲开车,一边超完车,都换到右边,只是autobahn没有speed limit的
地方,有些车几乎是玩命,所以一转眼的功夫,人家就在你后面了。但我从右边超左边
的车,左边的车给我按喇叭,确实让我不爽。like what i said, 我违反交通规则是警
察的事情,跟路上的人没有关系。而且用右边的lane超车,也没有像逆行,闯红灯一样
影响其他的车。

engineering related majors, definitely top notch, :). accounting似乎也很牛,
its undergraduate program ranks #1 in the nation.

其实之前我没有计划要去sedona,但后来研究了一下行程觉得光去hoover dam, 然后开
到las vegas不过瘾。于是乎又开始找在flagstaff周围能玩的地方,最早想去zion,
bryce的,但看了地图觉得太远。最后无意中看到关于sedona的帖子以后,可以说被图
片当中的红石头所深深的吸引了,所以一不做二不休,决定开车奔向sedona!
清晨,开车奔向sedona. 这次特意走89a而不是interstate, 事实证明我的决定让我看
到了很美丽的景色,不过这段路开的也相当的刺激。
大家要是走89a的话真的小心,这么弯曲的路开起来不是闹着玩的。我早上去sedona的
时候走这条路开完以后觉得很刺激,回来的时候觉得总算开完了,呵呵。
sedona街头一景. 也许因为是礼拜3大家都要上班,或者sedona根本不算什么有名的景
点,在sedona玩的游客寥寥无几。有些时候为了照相方便,我就把车停在马路当中,然
后拿出相机照相,反正后面也没有车,:).
sedona的最高点。树和下面的铁丝网真是碍事,不过因为真的要赶路,所以我也懒的再
找好的地方照相了。

期。2ndly, 据说3月份和9月份是看极光最好的季节;3月份,冰天雪地的也没什么假期
,舍不得专门大老远飞到alaska就为了看个极光,所以9月份一定要去碰碰运气。3rd,
9月份立秋以后,能够看到不同颜色的景色,夏天去的时候都是绿色,too boring.
大家有机会的话可以看看下面这个link, 这个人就是9月份去的。至少我被照片里的景
色所深深的吸引了。

3rdly, in composition, focus point are often set at the cross point of 九宫
格, you will have to recompose diagonally.
4th, recompose waste time,even if it's just a split of second. That is a
disadvantage as well.
Again,I use center focus + recompose all the time. But that's not preferred
method if you have way to focus directly. |
